Jack loved the bath. It was one of his favorite things to do. He had an awesome imagination, and would spend hours in the tub creating stories and adventures with his toys. His Grandma got his some bath tub finger paints that turned out would change his world. It was crazy how his bath time went from being awesome, to absolutely unbelievable!

Are you ready to meditate with Kori?

Make sure that you're laying down in your bed and everything is just right in your room.

You're tucked under the covers and your body is all comfortable and relaxed so that you can let go of your busy day and eventually,

Hopefully fall fast asleep.

Jack was in the bathtub.

Being in the bath was one of Jack's favourite things to do.

For one,

Jack had a really good imagination so he could play for hours in the tub.

He had a basket on the side of the tub with all his different toys that he played with.

He had aeroplanes,

Buckets,

He had action figures,

A dinosaur,

A rubber whale that spurted water out of the top.

He had all sorts of things and he would just go on adventures in his mind and make his toys come alive.

He would stay in the tub for that long that the ends of his fingers would go all wrinkly and pruney.

The water would go really cold.

The bubbles would just disappear.

He didn't mind.

He loved being in the tub.

There was something about having a bath that woke him up but also relaxed him.

If Jack had had a bad day at school or he'd just been playing really hard with his friends and he was all sweaty and dirty,

The bathtub was like the best thing in the world.

He had a set of paints,

Finger paints,

That his grandma had got him.

He'd not used them yet.

He was very excited about these paints.

He knew he could paint things on the wall in the bathtub and he wouldn't get in trouble.

I mean how cool is that?

These paints were just like coloured bubble bath kind of stuff.

He would get clean and he could paint on the walls at the same time.

Who wouldn't like that?

Thought Jack.

He was thinking about what he was going to paint.

What shall I paint first?

Luckily the walls in his bathroom were white.

They were like a plastic white tile all around the bathtub so that when you showered the water didn't run on the real walls.

It ran on these plastic tiles.

He was going to draw all over the plastic white tiles.

He was going to create a mural,

A garden,

An ocean with dolphins in.

He was going to create a mountain made of ice cream.

He had all of these awesome ideas in his mind and he didn't know which one to do first.

He decided on the ocean.

He was going to create an ocean.

He picked the blue paint and squirted it in the palm of his left hand and dipped his two fingers,

His index finger and his middle finger into the paint from his right hand because he was right handed.

Then he started to draw waves on the white plastic tiles.

This is fun,

He thought.

This is really fun.

He squirted a big handful of blue paint into his hand and it was dripping through the parts of his fingers that weren't completely closed and when it dripped into the bath water it made the water blue.

He felt like he was in the ocean.

I'm in the ocean and I'm drawing the ocean.

Then he got super excited and he drew a big,

Big dolphin jumping out of the ocean that he painted with his finger paints.

It was very strange.

Very,

Very,

Very strange.

Not just a little bit strange.

Like really,

Really weird strange.

Was as soon as he drew the dolphin.

The dolphin flew off the tiles and dived into his bath water and then disappeared.

Jack looked at the wall where he just painted a dolphin,

A blue dolphin,

In his blue water.

There was blue water but there wasn't a blue dolphin on the wall.

The blue dolphin that he drew with his two fingers,

His index finger and his middle finger on his right hand that he just literally did five seconds ago had disappeared.

And all that was left was him having a vision of the dolphin diving off the wall into his bathtub.

He started splashing around in the bathtub as if he was looking for the dolphin and then he thought,

Jack,

Are you crazy?

And then he thought,

Did he even paint a dolphin?

And then he thought,

Oh no,

I must be hungry.

And then he let it go.

As if it was a mistake in his mind.

Something that obviously wasn't real.

Maybe it was just this weird thing that because his blood sugar was low,

His mum always talked about that.

Jack,

Did you eat your lunch at school?

Jack,

You have to make sure you eat a good breakfast.

Jack,

Did you eat your protein bar at school today?

Jack,

Make sure you have your snacks.

She went on and on and on about how important it was to keep his food up.

Otherwise his blood sugar might get low and he might get cranky or weird or dizzy or whatever you do when your blood sugar is low.

He didn't know.

He never found out because he always ate his snacks.

Because Jack really liked snacks.

But that was beside the point.

But then that was the point because now he was hungry.

He decided to pick up the yellow and the orange paints.

He drew a big,

Big yellow circle.

He divided the circle into eight pieces.

And then he drew orange pieces of pepperoni on his pizza.

The pizza looked delicious.

And then something weird happened.

Something really,

Really weird.

Not just a little bit weird.

Like on a scale of one to ten weird,

It was ten.

It was actually twelve.

You could argue and say it was actually twenty.

It was twenty.

He decided it was really,

Really twenty weird.

That's a lot.

That's like super weird.

But he could smell the pizza that he drew.

He could smell it,

Guys.

It smelt like cheese.

Melted.

Warm and soft.

And as he sniffed in nice and deep,

It made his mouth water and his tummy started talking.

It smelt that good.

Fresh baked pizza dough.

Like smelling fresh baked bread.

It was one of Jack's favorite smells in the entire world.

It smelt better than his mum and he loved how his mum smelt.

She was always warm and snuggly.

And she had this familiar smell that made him feel safe and comfortable.

Pizza.

Warm,

Fresh,

Baked bread.

Was better than that.

He closed his eyes and took the biggest,

Deepest smell and thought,

I wonder if mum's cooking pizza downstairs.

That must be it.

She must be cooking pizza downstairs because this is like on a scale of one to ten,

Twenty weird.

Maybe it's a coincidence that she's cooking pizza downstairs and I smelt the pizza and then without realizing I painted pizza.

That's it.

It's just a coincidence.

Jack shouted out,

Mum.

Mum.

His mum answered,

What Jack?

Are you cooking pizza?

His mum said,

No,

Why?

Are you hungry?

Did you eat today?

Jack sighed.

Oh,

She started again.

But then he thought,

Oh,

She's not cooking pizza.

And then he remembered his mum was waiting for an answer and he shouted,

No,

It's okay,

I'm not cooking pizza.

And then he went really still and quiet.

And then he reached for a piece of pizza off the bathroom wall.

The pizza was warm in his hands.

The oil from the cheese was running down the side of his fingers.

He was holding a piece of pepperoni pizza.

And as he looked at the picture on the wall,

There was only seven pieces there.

It was missing a piece.

The piece that he was holding.

He freaked.

He freaked out just a little bit.

Started to pant.

He couldn't get his breath.

And then he had a bite of pizza and said,

OMG,

This is the bestest pizza I've ever had.

He ate two pieces of pizza.

But then he decided to accept the fact that these pens,

These finger paints that his grandma had bought him could possibly be magical paints.

Magical paints?

What am I going to do with magical paints?

The options are endless.

Oh,

I know what I'm going to draw.

He painted really quickly on his bathroom wall a mermaid.

A mermaid with long blonde hair.

She had a pink tail.

And behind the mermaid,

He painted a shark.

Big.

I mean like a big great white shark.

It was a really big shark.

Twice the size of the mermaid.

And the shark had like hundreds of teeth.

He was drawing lots and lots and lots of teeth.

Lots of teeth.

He kind of got carried away with the teeth.

The shark had hundreds of teeth.

A big white shark.

Great white shark with hundreds of teeth just behind the mermaid.

And then he paused and thought maybe this is not a good idea.

And he quickly with the back of his hand scribbled out the shark.

Just in time for the mermaid to make a little noise or scream.

She dived off the bathroom wall.

Dived into the water that he was sat in.

Making all of her colors dissolve and come to the surface.

As if she just disappeared into the nothingness of the bathtub.

That could have been bad he thought.

And then he laughed and thought well maybe I could have made the shark a friendly shark.

A few less teeth maybe.

Anyway what shall I draw now?

He thought.

He drew a rainbow in all the different colors that he had.

A big giant rainbow.

It was red and yellow and pink and green and orange and purple and blue.

It was a really cool looking rainbow.

He drew it from one side of the bathroom to the other.

Happily painting away.

Blending all the colors perfectly together.

And then he sat down in the bathtub and looked at it and for a moment.

Like ten seconds or so.

It seemed to just become real.

Lift off the bathroom wall.

And shine brightly in his face.

Just like a real rainbow would look.

It was super cool.

Like really cool.

And then just like that the paints fell into the tub.

Dissolved into the water.

As if gravity could no longer hold up his rainbow.

Or maybe things only stayed real for a few seconds and then that was the end of that.

He was figuring out his magical paints.

How they were magical.

What he could make with them.

What he wanted to create with them.

After a while his mom shouted,

Jack it's time for dinner.

I put you some pizzas in the oven since you mentioned pizza.

Jack didn't have the heart to tell his mom he'd just eaten a bunch of pizza.

He wasn't even hungry anymore.

But that's okay.

He thought about it.

Rubbed his tummy and thought,

Hmmm,

I can always make room for more pizza.

He carefully put all of his pens back in the pack that they came in.

He got out of the tub and dried off and put the pens in the bottom drawer in the bathroom cabinet.

Not that his mom or his dad or his older sister would want to do finger paints.

But you never know.

He was going to keep this to himself for a while.

He wasn't sure if he was crazy.

But it was pretty cool.

Maybe it was just his imagination.

Maybe it was because Jack's just this awesome kid with an awesome imagination.

He thought to himself,

Either way,

These were the best finger paints anyone could have ever got him.

He was actually excited about getting in the bath the next day.

Could he even wait?

He thought.

That night when he got into bed,

He thought about all the things he could paint that could come real for a few seconds.

This was just the beginning.

Just the beginning of all of Jack's bathtub adventures.

I wonder what Jack chooses to paint next.

We'll have to see.

The end.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.

I'm going to go get some water.
