My name is Cori.
Thank you for coming to meditate with me today.
We're just going to make a simple guided meditation that's going to help you feel more in your body,
Calm,
Peaceful and hopefully very,
Very relaxed.
If you can find a comfortable seated position whatever feels right for you in your body.
Close down your eyes and let's start to focus on our wonderful breath.
Just breathe your normal breathing,
Don't make it anything fancy.
Breathe your normal breath and observe what that feels like in your body.
Maybe your breath is quite shallow and fast,
Maybe it feels slower today.
We're going to manipulate the breath and make it slower on a purpose because then we're sending signals to our body and our brain that we are relaxed and we are calm and all is well in the world.
So slow down your breath,
Nice long slow deep breaths.
You can breathe in through your nose or your mouth or in and out of both or either or one,
It's up to you.
This is your meditation practice so make it juicy and delicious for you,
It's not about anybody else.
And once you've slowed down your breathing,
I'd like you to start to think about your favorite color,
If you have a favorite color or even trust your intuition today and just start to open your mind and allow a color to come to you.
Whatever color that is,
Doesn't matter.
Start to allow yourself to see a color in your mind,
Maybe the color might shift and change just a little bit or maybe you'll see a combination of colors in your mind.
There is no right or wrong,
Just make sure that you allow whatever color to come to you,
Don't try and shift it or change it.
That color is good for you right now in this moment,
That's why it's coming or like I said you can use your favorite color.
Once you have a color there in your mind,
Imagine that the color is over your head and it's starting to rain down onto the top of your head as if you were in the shower and the water was your color.
Slowly starting to penetrate into your body as well as around and over your body.
This beautiful color of yours that you're seeing in your mind has healing properties,
Maybe it's cleansing you today,
Maybe it's loving on you today,
Maybe it's just bringing you a sense of peace.
Whatever the intention of your color is,
Just let it naturally happen.
Let it start to pour down over your face and the back of your head.
Let it pour down onto your shoulders,
Down over your back and your chest.
Let it roll slowly down your arms.
As if this color is starting to penetrate deep into your cells,
Your bones,
Your muscles.
See it going on the inside as well as on the outside.
Imagine looking down at your hands and your hands are your color,
All the way to the tips of your fingers.
Let it roll down over your entire torso,
Down over your hips,
Onto your thighs,
Down to your lower legs,
All the way down to the tips of your toes.
So your entire body is smothered and covered and completely doused in this color that you need right now in this moment.
Imagine it's running through your body,
Buzzing,
Tingling.
Maybe you can feel the tingling sensation in your fingertips.
Just acknowledge that you've allowed your body to be completely drenched in some kind of quality that it needed.
It needed it to feel calm,
Peaceful and yummy.
Let your body feel completely yummy right now.
Take a nice,
Big,
Deep breath in with me,
In through your nose.
And then make a verbal sigh,
A noise of some kind of release out through your mouth when you breathe out.
Let's do that again.
A nice,
Big,
Deep breath in through your nose.
A big,
Deep breath,
Cleansing,
Clearing,
Shifting breath.
And then exhale,
Breathe it all out,
Release,
Let go.
And be ready for whatever comes next in your reality.
