Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
And close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let go of any tension or stress.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Take another deep breath in,
Feeling the air coming up from the bottom of your feet all the way to the top of your head.
Allow yourself to truly arrive in this moment.
Take one last deep breath,
Breathing in peace and relaxation,
And breathing out anything that no longer serves you.
Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine,
The location of your root chakra.
Visualize a vibrant red light glowing at the base of your spine.
With each inhale,
Imagine this red light growing brighter and more vibrant.
With each exhale,
Imagine this red light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of stability,
Security,
And grounding filling this area.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I am grounded,
Stable,
And secure.
Move your focus to just below your navel,
Where your sacral chakra is located.
Visualize a warm orange light glowing in this area.
With each in-breath,
See this orange light becoming more radiant and powerful.
With each exhale,
Imagine this orange light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of creativity,
Pleasure,
And emotional balance flowing through you.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I am creative,
Sensual,
And abundant.
Shift your attention to your upper abdomen,
The location of your solar plexus chakra.
Visualize a bright yellow light shining from this area.
With each inhale,
Imagine this yellow light growing stronger and more luminous.
With each exhale,
Imagine this yellow light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of confidence,
Personal power,
And willpower radiating from your solar plexus.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I am confident,
Powerful,
And capable.
Bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
Where your heart chakra resides.
Visualize a soft green light emanating from your heart center.
With each in-breath,
See this green light expanding and glowing brighter.
With each out-breath,
Imagine this green light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of love,
Compassion,
And forgiveness filling your heart.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I give and receive love unconditionally.
Move your focus to your throat,
The location of your throat chakra.
Visualize a clear blue light shining from your throat.
With each inhale,
Imagine this blue light becoming more vivid and clear.
With each exhale,
Imagine this blue light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of communication,
Expression,
And truth flowing through your throat.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I express myself with honesty and integrity.
Shift your attention to the space between your eyebrows,
The location of your third eye chakra.
Visualize an indigo light glowing in this area.
With each in-breath,
See this indigo light growing deeper and more intense.
With each exhale,
Imagine this indigo light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of intuition,
Insight,
And wisdom filling your mind.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I trust my intuition and inner wisdom.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head,
Where your crown chakra is located.
Visualize a white light radiating from the crown of your head.
With each inhale,
Imagine this white light growing more brilliant and expansive.
With each exhale,
Imagine this white light spinning clockwise,
Faster and faster.
Feel the energy of connection,
Spirituality,
And enlightenment flowing through you.
In your mind,
Repeat the words,
I am connected to the divine and the universe.
Now imagine all these lights,
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Indigo,
And white,
Aligning along your spine as if you are a rainbow strand of jewels radiating energy and glow.
See them shining brightly and harmoniously,
Creating a beautiful spectrum of light within you.
With each breath,
Feel this balanced energy flowing freely from your root to your crown.
Take a few deep,
Cleansing breaths,
Feeling the balanced energy within you.
Allow this feeling to stay with you as you begin to bring your awareness back to the room.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Carry this sense of balance and harmony with you throughout your day,
Knowing you can return to this meditation whenever you need.
