Find a comfortable seated position or a lie down if you feel more comfortable and we're going to start with three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
So inhale and one more time inhale and allowing a breath to settle into its natural rhythm,
Not trying to change it,
Simply observing your breath,
Maybe bringing your attention to your belly rising and falling,
Your rib cage and chest expanding and collapsing or noticing the cold air that's moving in through your nostrils and the warm air that's moving out.
Staying with the breath and if your mind wanders or feels busier than usual that's okay.
Just very gently bring your attention back to the breath,
Back to your body,
Maybe placing a hand on your body,
On your belly or chest if it helps keeping the focus.
As you keep breathing,
Relaxing a little deeper with each exhalation.
There is no right or wrong,
We're simply observing,
We're not trying to change.
There is no need for perfection around here.
If you feel any tension in your back,
Your shoulders,
Your legs or even just a space between your eyebrows with some compassion,
Allow yourself to surrender,
To relax a little deeper into your body,
Into this very moment.
When you feel ready,
I invite you to imagine there is an energy field all around your body.
It's a little bubble that you're sitting in right now,
A bubble of your energy,
Any color that you desire,
Any color that you see.
And as you look at this little bubble around you,
You can see various little corners sticking out of it,
Like little strings that are coming out of your bubble.
And those strings are attached to people,
To situations,
To beliefs that no longer serve you.
Old ways of thinking,
Disagreements that still weigh on you,
Situations in which you may have betrayed yourself,
Situations that you have yet to forgive yourself or other others.
And maybe you can see these strings clearly,
Maybe yours are a little blurry and that's okay.
With every breath that we are taking,
I invite you to sever that string to that situation.
And I invite you to,
With the breath,
With the inhale,
To draw that string back into your energy field.
As your energy is leaking to all of these places,
All of these people,
All of these situations,
And your energy is gently coming back to you,
To your body,
To your being,
To where you need it,
To where you want it to be,
To be fueling you,
To be fueling this present moment.
And it's okay if some of them,
Some of those strings,
You cannot just sever.
If they take a little bit longer,
If they take a little bit more work,
That's okay.
You can always come back and do this a couple of times or even more if that's what it takes to allow yourself to move forward from this person,
Situation or memory.
Now,
As you take a deep inhale,
Get ready to pick one of the strings,
Maybe to your left or maybe to your right.
Maybe there is one string that you'd like to sever and you can do so just by imagining it's severing or even using your hand or an obsidian crystal to sever this link.
And as you do,
As you breathe in again,
Bringing that energy back into your field,
Back to you.
And doing this for each of those strings that is leaking out over and over.
Maybe there are some strings behind you,
Next to you,
In front of you,
Even above you.
Allowing yourself to be free.
And as you keep doing this over and over again,
You will notice a small ball of light appearing in your chest.
And that light is growing bigger and bigger and bigger.
The more you call back in your energy and you allow all of those strings to return into your field.
And this light just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
And you keep breathing and severing.
Maybe moving your body if it feels good as you do this.
And the light around your chest is growing bigger and bigger and bigger.
And when you have returned as many strings as possible into your field,
That light just becomes even bigger,
Uncovers your whole body and the whole room around you with light.
The light feels warm on your skin.
And then it disappears into your body with that new sense of courage,
With that new sense of empowerment found through giving yourself back some of the power that maybe you feel that you had lost.
And taking a moment to place your hands on your chest.
Taking a moment to thank yourself.
Thanking yourself for taking this time to retrieve some of those energy leaks.
And giving yourself back all or some of that power that you had been given away.
Now very gently wiggling your fingers and your toes and opening your eyes when you feel ready.
