The word sādhanā simply means practice.
Not perfection,
But the willingness to return again and again with sincerity.
Patanjali reminds us that the path is open to everyone,
From the beginner to the experienced practitioner.
A sādhaka is one who applies that mind with skill,
Dedication and devotion.
It is not enough to show up mechanically,
We show up carefully,
Observing,
Reflecting and learning through experience.
This is the art of abhyāsa,
Steady and sincere practice maintained over time.
Think of your practice as a ladder.
On one side is your effort and on the other is the art of letting go.
This discipline gradually guides us toward a steadier ground of clarity and presence.
Even when we feel uncertain of our direction,
We keep returning with sincerity and attention.
Practice helps us stay steady and away.
Namaste.
