Music Hello and welcome to your evening meditation.
You can use this as you're drifting off into dreamland or you can use this when you need to bring your body into a deep state of rest.
So wherever you're at,
Begin to create a space that is comfortable for you.
Putting everything to one side.
Music Allowing yourself to begin to let go of your day.
As you begin to find your breath.
And take in a deeper breath,
Breathing in and exhaling,
Just letting it all go.
Allowing your body to drop and become heavy here.
And taking your time,
Knowing that there's no need to rush.
This is a time that you have carved out just for yourself.
So take a big breath in and exhale.
Arrive here.
And then if you'd like,
You can imagine yourself on a warm bed of grass with a blanket of stars above you.
Bringing your attention up to the crown of your head as you take a breath and breathe in relaxation all the way down your forehead,
Around your temples,
Down the back of your ears.
Allowing your jaw to unhinge.
Taking in a breath and breathing down your right shoulder all the way down through your elbow,
Your wrist,
Your fingers.
And back up towards your wrist,
Your elbow,
Your shoulder,
The pit of your throat,
Down your left shoulder,
Your elbow,
Your wrist,
Your fingers.
And back up to your wrist,
Your elbow,
Your shoulder,
To the pit of your throat.
Taking in a breath and moving down the center of your rib cage to rest above your heart.
Take your time to let go here.
Just put aside any heaviness or worry.
You are free to let that go now.
Find the softness of your breath as you breathe in and as you surrender and release.
And moving down with your breath and with your awareness towards your navel.
Softening your belly,
Softening your hips.
Moving down your right leg towards your knee,
Towards your ankle and the bottom of your foot.
Softening your toes.
And then coming back up towards your ankle,
Your knee,
Your hip.
Moving through center space over to the left side,
Breathing down the left hip,
The knee,
The ankle,
The bottom of your foot,
Your toes.
And back up towards your ankle,
Your knee,
Your hip.
Towards the center,
Towards your navel.
Take a breath here.
And then traveling up center of your body,
Up towards your heart space,
Up towards your throat,
Up towards the space between your eyebrows.
Pause here.
Allow this center of perception to open.
And if there is a dream seed that you would like to plant,
Take your time to plant it here.
Or if there is something weighing on your heart or in your mind,
Perhaps lay it down here with curiosity and wonder.
So the answers may arise as you rest and sleep.
Take your time,
Beloved,
To plant your seed here.
And then coming up towards the crown of your head,
As if you can just rest in the opening of the 10,
000 lotus petals in a color of violet.
Breathing here and resting here.
And then feel free to linger here as long as you need.
Knowing that you are supported.
You're not alone in this greater field of energy that is good and that is holy.
And for this time to bring a more balanced,
Rested energy into the body,
We say thank you.
And so it is.
And so it shall be.
