(Wk 3) Duality + Contrast Part 2 - Unleash Your Peace

Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.

And among those possibilities is a life where you have no pain,

No suffering,

Where you have lasting internal peace.

You live your best life yet because you're living from your power.

You're living from your passion.

You're living from that place of infinite potential where there is really no limits.

When we live from this place of joy and peace and happiness and connectedness and love,

We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives.

We actually exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.

We become whole.

We become powerful.

We become our beautiful,

Infinite potential selves.

And that is my wish for you.

Now this week's topic is really big.

We're getting into the topic that is really the bane of our existence as human beings on this planet.

And that is the role of duality and the role of contrast in our lives.

Yesterday,

We defined what duality is and we defined what contrast is.

And we talked about how without duality,

There is really no existence.

We are not here if it's not for duality.

And then we talked about how without contrast,

There's no creation.

There is no expansion.

So we need duality and we need contrast in order to,

First of all,

Exist and then to create and to expand,

Which is really what we are here for.

Now before we dive further into this topic in the next few days,

I want to do a quick exercise to demonstrate how powerful contrast actually is,

That it is essential in our lives.

Because you might be sitting there and saying to me,

You know,

Ellie,

I don't really know what the point of this contrast is in my life.

I just got let go of my job.

I don't know what the point of that is.

Somebody stole my phone.

I don't know what the point of that is.

I don't understand why I have to deal with this crazy family of mine that is abusive.

I don't know why I had an alcoholic father.

I don't know why I chose a husband who beats me.

I don't know why I chose a wife who doesn't know how to be a mother.

I don't know why my child is blind.

All of this contrast that you might be experiencing in your life that is very,

Very,

Very present.

I am here telling you that there's a point to it that without that contrast,

You would not be a creator,

But it's very hard to swallow and say,

Oh,

Let me be grateful for this seemingly horrible thing that is present in my life.

Now before we go into the minutia of contrast,

I want to neutralize the space a little bit with an exercise.

So do this with me.

Just if you're able to close your eyes because I really want you to step into this world that I'm about to create for you.

So close your eyes and sit really comfortably and open your mind and open your heart and allow yourself to be taken into this alternate reality that I am about to build for you.

So close your eyes and imagine you are a being,

A creature.

You're not a human.

You're not on this planet.

You're simply a creature.

And this creature,

I ask you,

What are you?

What is your gender?

And you turn to me and you say,

I don't know what that is.

I don't have a concept for that.

And then I ask you.

Well,

How old are you?

And you say,

I don't know.

We don't have a concept for that.

And I say,

How tall are you?

And you say,

What is that?

We don't have a concept for that.

I say,

How heavy are you?

And you say,

I don't know.

We don't have a concept for that.

And you say,

You know,

But the thing is,

I feel like it's very easy for me to move around.

Whenever I think of doing something,

It's very easy for me to move.

And I say,

Well,

Is that because the gravity wherever you are is maybe a little different than Earth?

Maybe it's a little lighter than Earth?

And you say,

Well,

I don't know because we don't really have a concept for that.

But all I can tell you is I don't really have to make a decision about movement.

I just think of it and then it just kind of happens.

Now you're this creature that is sexless,

Genderless,

Ageless,

Weightless.

And I say to you,

What is your world like?

And you say,

Well,

My world is filled with this lush plants.

There is all sorts of food in abundance.

The water is really clear and clean.

And I say,

Do you feel hungry ever?

And you say,

Well,

No,

Because if I'm hungry,

I eat.

There's food in abundance.

I say,

Do you feel thirsty?

And you say,

No,

Because if I'm thirsty,

I drink.

There's drink in abundance.

And I say,

What is your language like?

And you say,

What is that?

And I say,

How do you communicate?

And you say,

Well,

We simply think and information is exchanged.

So now you're this creature that is sexless,

You're ageless,

You're genderless,

You're heightless.

And you live in this paradise where food and drink exist in abundance and readily so.

And there's no need for language because you simply think and you communicate.

Communication is instant.

Movement is instant.

So now let me ask you this very important question.

As this creature,

What would you like to create?

What need do you have to fill?

What questions do you have to answer?

What problems do you have to solve?

Because if we don't have needs and we don't have problems and we don't have questions,

Why would we create anything at all?

So if the contrast we're experiencing is creating for us problems to solve,

Questions to answer,

Preferences to have,

Life experiences that help us define what we don't like and what we do like so that we can have preferences,

So that we can have questions,

So that we can have problems,

So we can have solutions and answers,

Then would you not say that it is because of the contrast you're experiencing that you are at all feeling a movement toward creating anything at all?

So yes,

Your husband,

Your wife might be abusive or an alcoholic.

So yes,

Your child might have an illness that is incurable.

So yes,

You might have gotten diagnosed with something that you really don't want to be diagnosed with.

So yes,

You didn't have the best childhood.

So yes,

You didn't get into the school you wanted to.

So yes,

Somebody stole your phone or your laptop.

So yes,

You had to get a parking ticket or a speeding ticket on your way to where you're going.

So yes,

You might have gotten laid off from your job.

But this contrast that you're experiencing is the reason you are asking the questions you're asking,

You're defining the preferences you're defining,

You're finding the problems that you're finding so that you can tell the world what you would rather have and get to where it is you are going,

Where it is you would rather be.

The entire point of today's episode is to maybe give you a different way to look at the contrast that you're experiencing right now so that you can,

In the next few days,

Unlock the potential of this contrast and see the opportunity that is hidden within it.

Because when we do that,

When we are willing to look at our situation differently,

Through a different lens,

Through a lens that opens it up to possibility,

That is when we have the opportunity to tap into our own power and unlock our own potential.

And that is what I want for you.

I want you to be able to do that.

I want you to not be bogged down by all of this contrast.

And I want you to really see the contrast as an opportunity to expand and to grow and become your whole powerful self.
