(Wk 14) Integrity Part 1 Of 5 - Unleash Your Peace
by Ellie Shoja
One simple decision that can lead to 500% increase in productivity. On week of our journey into the inner world, we tackle the very important topic of Integrity -- self-integrity, to be exact. Have you ever wondered why it seems to be so difficult for most people to create the lives of their dreams, even though each of us is an infinite Being capable of creating all that we desire? I believe this week's topic holds an important part of this answer.

Hello and welcome back to Unleash Your Peace.
My name is Ali Shoja.
I am your host.
I'm a positive mindset coach,
A personal transformation expert.
I'm a deliberate creator and your peace trainer.
And this podcast over here,
Unleash Your Peace,
Is your peace training.
Every single week,
We dive into a different aspect of the internal world.
We do that over the course of five episodes published Monday through Friday.
The episodes are short and sweet.
They are meant to uplift and inspire you and give you something thought-provoking to think about every morning,
But also not bog down all of your time.
So you get a lot of value for very little time commitment.
And the reason we do this is because your peace,
Your creativity,
Your joy,
Your happiness,
All of that resides within you.
It's inside of you.
And when you go inward,
That's when you get access to all of that wonderful stuff and you start living your best life.
When we live from that place of joy and peace and connectedness to that non-physical,
That infinite expanded part of us that holds all of our potential,
We don't just incrementally improve the quality of our lives.
We actually exponentially innovate every aspect of our experiences on this physical plane.
We become whole.
We become powerful creators.
We start living the life of our dreams and we inspire everybody around us to do that same thing.
And that is my wish for you.
That's my wish for everyone.
Now,
We are on week 14.
Right now,
We've had 13 full weeks together.
What an incredible journey it was.
My mom keeps asking me every single week,
Have you run out of topics yet?
And no,
I haven't.
There's still a lot to go,
But we've had so many incredible topics.
We talked about the quality of you,
What you are,
The human being,
The physical,
The non-physical,
The vibrational quality of you.
On our second week,
We even talked about quantum physics,
How that explains the law of attraction.
We talked about contrast and duality,
Your life's purpose,
Gratitude,
Forgiveness,
The connection between your mind and your body,
The difference between religion and spirituality.
We talked about love,
About fear,
Blind spots,
Creativity.
And last week,
We talked about vulnerability.
If you missed any of that,
You can binge listen to an entire week in less than an hour.
That's why the episodes are so short.
So you can consume the entire week in a short amount of time.
Now this week,
We have a really cool topic.
It might feel initially like it is a little bit outside of the realm of the internal world.
And I assure you,
It is not.
It is in fact one of the very important pieces of the internal world.
It is the thing that makes it possible for us to manifest what we see in our minds.
And that is integrity.
Now before we dive too deeply in the next couple of days into this topic of integrity,
I do want to differentiate between integrity and morality and ethics.
A lot of people mix integrity of with morality and ethics.
They think it's like a moral or ethical thing,
But it is not.
Integrity is a purely positive proposition.
It is being your word.
So you give your word and you stay behind it.
So basically I say something to you that I'm going to do and I do it.
And if I can't do it,
I then communicate to you as soon as I can that,
Hey,
I know I told you I'm going to do this for you.
However,
I won't be able to.
In that communication,
I take responsibility for not being able to follow through with my word.
So I'm honoring my word.
So I'm either my word or I am honoring my word.
So that's integrity.
Morality refers to kind of the society's standards about right and wrong behavior.
So there definitely is something that is right that you're supposed to do and something that is wrong that you're not supposed to do.
And the morality differentiates between those things.
And ethics refers to that same normative set of values between right and wrong that applies to all members of a group or organization.
So therefore in morality and ethics,
There is a very clear distinctions between right and wrong,
Whereas in integrity,
It is only just a positive proposition.
So it's just being your word and honoring your word.
It is almost like the law of gravity.
There's no good or bad gravity.
There's no good or bad integrity.
It's just being in integrity or not being in integrity.
The thing about integrity is most of us think we are an integrity.
Most of us think we live in integrity.
However,
Most of us don't.
So it is such an important,
Important topic here for us to discuss because this lack of integrity,
I believe is one of the reasons we don't create the lives that we want.
We have a hard time manifesting that which we see so clearly in our minds,
That which we really believe we deserve and we want,
And we really have a hard time getting to it.
We don't know how to get to it.
And I guarantee you,
Once we go down this rabbit hole of integrity,
You'll see that if you were to live in integrity 100% of the time,
You would also get to that which you want very,
Very fast,
Very quickly.
In fact,
Companies that have implemented this attitude of 100% integrity,
Every individual is 100% in integrity all the time.
I know that sounds like a lot and as we get into it,
It'll be like,
Oh my goodness,
How do these people do it?
But there are companies that do this and they see really exceptional results.
I'm not talking about 10 or 20% increase in productivity.
I'm talking about 100 to 500% increase in their output,
Increase in their productivity with no additional input.
Companies that do this are a lot more agile.
They're a lot more productive.
They get to their goals a lot faster with a lot more efficiency.
And this happens for us on an individual level when we implement integrity in our lives.
Since I started doing it last week,
My productivity has gone up through the roof.
The reason I'm actually talking about integrity today,
I just mentioned I started doing 100% in integrity last week because I ran into an article that was an interview with Dr.
Michael Janssen,
Who is the chairman of social science research network,
SSRN.
He has done a lot of research on integrity and they are one of the companies that have implemented 100% in integrity policy and their productivity,
Their output has increased by 300% or at the time of this article,
Which was about a decade ago,
It had increased 300% within three years of implementing this policy.
And that is with zero additional input into the company.
So really huge results and I have heard about other companies that have done this with very,
Very similar results.
So I run into this article,
I read it and I'm a person.
I teach spirituality,
You guys.
I talk about the internal world.
I am incredibly introspective.
I analyze and go inward and anything that happens in my life,
I'm always turning the lens into myself.
So this is the way I live.
So I thought I am very much in integrity all the time.
However,
After reading this article,
I realized as I was reading it,
I realized,
Oh my goodness,
At best I'm a five when it comes to integrity.
And I told one of my close friends this and she said,
Oh,
I think you're a lot higher.
And I'm like,
No,
Actually if I'm perfectly honest with myself,
I am no more than a five on a scale of one to 10 when it comes to integrity.
And I'll give you a very specific example,
Literally half an hour before I read that article,
There was a small child,
My family's child who's visiting this house.
She wants to hang out with me.
She wants to play with me.
She's three years old and I love her and I would love to play with her,
But I have work to do.
So I literally said to this child,
Why don't you go downstairs and I'll come down and play with you with having zero intention to go down and play with her later.
I absolutely had no intention and yet I knew that that was what's going to get this child out of this room so I could work.
And I told this child that I would come down and play with her if she went downstairs and I read this article and I say to myself,
Wow,
You have absolutely no integrity.
So what did I do?
I went down and I honored my word.
I was my word.
I played with her and I took some time off from working,
But that is just a small example.
So I decided on that day that I would live a hundred percent in integrity and this was a week ago and I can tell you I have never been more productive in my life and I'm an extremely productive person.
I produce so much and I'm constantly working and doing things and reading and producing and I have never been more productive and I've never felt more productive.
And part of it is because when you live in integrity,
I like to liken it to I'm pulling off band-aids all day long.
So it's,
I'm doing things that I have been putting off that have been on my plate that I know I need to do that I don't want to do that just need to get done.
And I just pulled that band-aid off because that's what it means to be in integrity.
You do the things you don't want to do,
But you do them because you gave your word.
Now a really big thing that has done for me personally is that it is making me trust my word a lot more.
So for example,
I have a rule where I wake up between six to six thirty in the morning,
I meditate,
I write,
I work on my novel and I do yoga.
And in the past,
If I woke up at six,
Six thirty and I was too tired,
I might go back to sleep or I might snooze a couple of times and being in integrity,
Being committed to being integrity,
I have given myself my word to wake up and to do these activities before my day starts.
I have gotten up every single morning whenever that alarm went off.
That in and of itself has made me 10 times,
20 times more productive.
Just having my morning start out in this beautiful way every single day.
So I'm really excited to talk this week to you guys about this topic.
I hope you stay with me all week long because there's a lot for us to cover.
There's a lot of different aspects of integrity,
Including how we manifest is really tied to integrity as I alluded to it at the beginning of this episode that I really want to get into in the next couple of days.
So for today,
I simply want to issue a challenge for you and that is to really look at yourself very,
Very honestly with an open mind.
And we've talked about shame,
We've talked about guilt,
We've talked about vulnerability.
So this might make you very vulnerable.
It might make you feel a little bit shameful,
But you know,
You know how to deal with all of that stuff because we've talked about it.
It's okay to feel the shame,
The guilt and release it.
There's nothing wrong with you at your core.
You are a perfect,
Beautiful being.
And this being in integrity business is going to allow you to communicate your perfection and your beauty even with greater power to the world.
So really be honest with yourself.
How would you rate yourself between one and 10?
For me,
It was a five and that was kind of a blow because I always thought I'm a very in integrity kind of a person.
But when I was really honest with myself,
I could see that I'm not,
I was not being very much in integrity and I have taken steps to change that.
If you're not honest with yourself,
Then you're not going to be able to implement a thing that is going to really improve the quality of your life and allow you to have a lot,
A lot more impact.
So I'll leave you with that.
