Your past doesn't define you. Your past doesn't define how your future could be like. You have always the opportunity to change and create a better future for yourself. It doesn't matter how your past looks like. It doesn't matter how things look like now. What really matters is what you do NOW that will create a different outcome. It is just a decision in the present moment that can change your mindset, habits, and routines. We all have a new opportunity for a fresh start at any time.

Your past does not dictate your future.

Let me elaborate on that.

It doesn't matter how your past has been.

For those who have been disorganized for a long time,

It doesn't matter how it has been.

What matters is what are you going to do now to change your future?

And I'm talking about the habits that you have,

I'm talking about the things that you wanna change.

You can change them really quickly if you really decide to.

The thing that takes a little bit of time is just changing the habit.

This is like driving a car.

Imagine that you are driving on a highway towards the north and you are driving 100 kilometers an hour.

Making the decision to change,

To decide I wanna go in the opposite direction,

It's just instant,

Right?

You say,

I just wanna do it.

Boom,

But making it happen takes a little bit of time.

So you know that you have to look for the next exit and then you have to break and then you have to switch directions and then you have to accelerate again and then it takes a while for you to go back to 100 kilometers an hour,

Going towards the south this time,

Right?

Because there is momentum.

There is something that has been happening for a while and now you wanna change it.

So it won't be instant.

So it's the same with yourself.

And so many times we are so hard on ourselves because we wanna change and we want the change to be instantaneous.

And the decision could be instantaneous but the logistics of making it happening,

It just takes some time.

Just think about how long it has been for you in the situation where you are living now.

Like if you are disorganized,

If you are overwhelmed,

If you wanna change something in your life,

How long have you been doing it this way?

And how long do you think it's gonna take you to change it?

Because that momentum is gonna be there and you have to allow a little bit of time.

You need to change the way you do things.

You need to create those new habits and that takes a little bit of time.

So please be gentle with yourself because you can do this,

Of course you can,

But it will take a little bit of time.

How long?

It depends on everybody,

We are all different.

And it depends on how long you have been doing things this specific way because the longer you have been doing them,

Maybe the longer it will take you to kind of switch that mentality,

Switch those habits,

Switch your mindset.

But it's possible and it's doable.

And if you get help and support,

It can be way faster because that help and that support and the accountability,

It's going to accelerate that change.

It's going to accelerate the way that you are showing up,

The way that you are changing things,

The way that you are taking the action because to make changes in your life,

You have to take the action and you have to be consistent taking the action.

And that's why so many times you have to be consistent and you have to keep that motivation going.

And sometimes doing that alone is difficult.

That's why I offer the help that I offer.

And that's why I work with people like you one-on-one because I help you find a better way to do things.

I help you put the mirror so that you can see yourself reflected so that you can understand what is it that is not working in your life?

What is it the things that you can change to optimize your time,

Optimize your space,

Optimize your finances or your time management or organizing your home,

Whatever you are working towards,

It's just important that you can see that.

It's important that when you decide the things that you need to change,

Then how can you make them happen consistently?

And this is why when people go to the gym,

This is why they hire personal trainers.

And a lot of people have referred to us like,

And to me,

You are my personal trainer for organization because you are there,

You check on me because you are there when I'm doing my reps,

When I'm trying to create those new habits,

You are there behind me supporting me and encouraging me.

When I get stuck,

I can ask you questions and you're always there to support me.

And I just want to remind you of that.

When you are trying to change,

Help is very helpful.

When you are trying to change,

It won't happen overnight.

So please be gentle with yourself.

It will take a little bit of time.

Doesn't have to take forever.

Can be very quickly,

But it won't be like,

I'm gonna change.

Tomorrow I'm gonna be organized,

Boom.

Tomorrow I'm gonna master my finances,

Boom.

It's not gonna be like instantaneously,

But it can be pretty fast.

And also remember that the habits are there.

The old habits are there.

The momentum that you have from doing this,

From the familiarity of having done this for so long,

It's still there and it's kind of like still working,

Right?

So you need to allow a little bit of time for that to kind of like slow down and then you are kicking in with the new habits,

Kicking in with the new routines,

Kicking in with your new decisions,

And then slowly you are making that change happen.

You are switching those directions.

Instead of going driving 100 kilometers an hour on the highway towards the north,

You are gonna start driving 100 kilometers an hour towards the south,

But remind yourself that you need to make the logistics.

You need to get on the right exit.

You need to break the car.

You need to like slow down,

Tune around,

And then you have to accelerate and then you have to get back on the highway and then you will be going 100 kilometers an hour on the opposite direction.

But just allow yourself some time.

Be gentle with yourself and ask for help.
