Hello and welcome to this guided sound meditation for anxiety and stress.
Please make sure that you are in a comfortable position where you will not be disturbed.
I recommend headphones and an eye covering to maximize your experience and dip into a meditative state.
Let's begin with a few big breaths.
Inhaling deeply through your nose,
Holding it for a moment and releasing through an open mouth.
Inhale,
Hold,
Let it go.
Inhale deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Holding the oxygen in to nourish your body.
And exhale,
Emptying your lungs fully.
One more.
Breathing in peace,
Serenity,
Holding the breath to soak up these healing energies and exhale,
Letting it all go.
As you begin to relax your body,
Take notice of how you are feeling,
Physically,
Emotionally.
Don't try to analyze or overthink it,
Just notice.
Notice the way your body feels,
Being held in its position by earth's gravitational pull.
Notice how heavy your head feels,
Laying against a pillow or maybe sitting upright.
Soften your jaw,
Your mouth,
Your tongue.
Notice your neck.
Allow your neck to relax,
Release.
Notice your shoulders,
Your upper back.
Feel the pressure of your body laying against whatever surface it is.
Allow them to melt.
Melt like an ice cube into a warm pool of water.
Notice your stomach.
If it is tense or tight,
Let it soften.
Take a breath in and out.
Notice your hands,
Your fingers.
Allow them to soften,
Melting into the earth.
Notice your lower back.
Allow any tension or tightness to unwind,
Unravel.
Notice your hips.
Notice them relaxing,
Melting,
Softening.
Notice your thighs,
The backs of your knees.
Let the relaxing sensation melt into them.
Notice your calves,
Your ankles,
The soothing warmth traveling down,
Down.
And finally,
Notice your feet and toes.
Allowing any remaining tension in your body to release and float away.
Be aware of your whole body melting into the earth beneath you.
As your body relaxes,
Your mind relaxes.
Your thoughts seem to become lighter as you are slipping further and further into a dreamlike state of stillness and relaxation.
You are comfortable,
Peaceful.
Now it is time to leave the external world behind and go on an inner journey,
A journey to a place of deep inner stillness.
You are comfortable,
Peaceful.
