In part 4 of her micro-series on Reiki, Estelle introduces you to the second of the 9 basic hand positions. Make sure you've listened to parts 1, 2, and 3 and activated your hands. The more you practise this, the easier it becomes and the stronger is the connection.

Reiki,

Second hand position,

The navel.

Make sure you're comfortable.

Relax.

Picture a soft white light entering your body through the crown of your head and flowing down into your hands.

Feel the warmth and the tingle of energy in your fingers and palms.

Relax.

Gently lift one hand and lightly place it across the side of your navel and then your other hand opposite it,

Your fingers lightly touching.

Feel the touch.

Feel the energy.

You may notice a difference in the energy from before.

It may be stronger or weaker,

Warmer or cooler.

There is no right or wrong.

There is nothing to do but feel.

Be aware of any emotions you may experience or thoughts that may arise.

Just notice them and let them come and go.
