Welcome to our guided meditation.

Sit comfortably with your back straight and close your eyes.

Make sure that you are in a comfortable position.

Take a few long deep breaths allowing your body to settle into whatever you are sitting.

Let go of everything that doesn't concern you right now.

Allow your breath to be normal,

Not controlling it in any way.

Be aware of the breath,

Not focusing or concentrating,

Just simply observing the breath as it naturally flows in and flows out.

Bring your awareness to your heart.

Be aware of the breath in your heart.

Imagine a green light surrounding your heart.

The color green is associated with the heart chakra,

Also known as anahata chakra in Sanskrit.

The color green represents transformation and the energy of love.

Let this green light be a warm light that opens your heart to compassion and unconditional love.

Be aware of the breath as you inhale and notice how it warms up your heart.

Notice as you exhale how you let go of the things that are no longer bringing you joy.

Now repeat silently to yourself the following mantra.

YAM is a mantra for the heart chakra.

YAM YAM YAM Remember,

The repetition of the mantra should be gentle and relaxed.

There's no need to force or concentrate.

Just listen to it.

YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM Feel that green light expanding as you continue with the mantra.

Feel that green light filling your heart with love,

Compassion and endless joy.

YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM YAM You can let go of your mantra.

As you go about your day,

Remember to bring that peace that you felt while meditating.

Bring it into your heart and spread the light of love among others.
