In this meditation we will take help from the moon to let go of what does not longer serve us.
Sit down in a comfortable seat or lie down if that suits you better.
Breathe in through your nose and breathe out with your mouth wide open.
Do it again and again and let your shoulders relax let them drop when you breathe out.
Relax your belly relax your legs relax between your eyebrows and in your jaws.
Now breathe in a way that is natural for you.
Feel your breath how it travels through your body and take a moment to just observe your natural breath through your body.
Now imagine that you are standing on a meadow in the forest.
It is a cold night but you are wrapped in coats and blankets so you keep yourself warm.
You can feel the fresh air on your cheeks.
The sky is all black but the full moon lights up the meadow.
You feel held and you are safe.
Turn your face to the moon and let her shower your face,
Your hair,
Your shoulders,
Your torso,
Your legs and your feet with her light.
You can feel the magic in the air.
Now you're ready to let go of some things that no longer serve you.
There is a basket in front of you that will serve as a container for the things you need to let go of.
Identify what you need to release.
Might be feelings,
Fear,
Stress,
Habits etc.
It's all up to you.
Imagine how you throw whatever no longer serves you in the basket.
Imagine how you get rid of unwanted things by just throwing them away.
One after one.
How does it feel when you throw them away?
Where can you feel it?
Can you feel it in your mind?
Can you feel it in your body?
Keep throwing away as many things as you need.
When you are done,
Lift up the basket.
It might be heavy because of the content but you can carry it a few metres to a bonfire.
And without any doubt you'll throw the basket and its content into the fire.
Watch the basket burn.
Watch all the things you have released burn under the moonlight.
Know that the full moon and the flames take care of those old feelings or habits.
Take a deep breath and sigh out the air from your mouth.
Sigh out contentment.
And you know that with the old gun there is a place for the new.
You turn your face to the full moon again and this time thank her for helping you release.
Now you can come back from the meadow and to your own body.
Feel the floor or ground around you.
Take a few deep breaths.
Make your eyes open.
