Sleep Meditation: At The Edge Of The Universe
Today's meditation will guide you on a relaxing journey from your home planet to the edge of the universe. Follow along with Reece's words, and, whenever you feel yourself drifting off, follow that feeling into sleep. Don't wait for permission to do so. The entire point of this meditation is to be lulled into sleep. If you found value in this sleep meditation, please consider leaving a review and maybe rate our content. Hello,
I'm Rhys Jones and welcome to this Sleep Talk Down meditation.
Over the next 30 minutes,
I'll be guiding you through a visualization designed to relax your body and mind in preparation for sleep.
If at any point you start feeling drowsy and are struggling to follow along with my words,
Don't try to hold on.
Instead let go and drift away.
There is no expectation for you to get to the end of this recording.
And so,
Now,
I'll give you a couple of minutes to get ready for bed.
Close your curtains,
Turn off your lights,
Slide under your covers.
And when my voice returns shortly,
The Sleep Talk Down will begin.
Oh,
Hmm.
You You You come to in a huge white dome.
The floor beneath you is soft and cushioned.
There is soothing music playing in the background.
And on the ceiling of the dome,
A collection of subdued colored lights slowly drift around.
There are a few people sharing this space with you,
Close enough for you to feel connected to them,
But far enough away for you to feel like you're in your own little private bubble.
This place feels relaxing to you.
So you kick off your shoes and lie down on the cushioned ground to get comfortable.
As you do,
The surface conforms to your shape and cradles you.
You gaze up at the dome's ceiling,
Calmly following the moving colored lights.
Their movement has a lulling,
Hypnotic effect on you,
And the longer you gaze,
The more tired you become.
In your tiredness,
You begin to see patterns in the colors,
Geodesic fractal-like patterns.
And this fascinates you,
Capturing your attention fully.
Before you know it,
You're lost in the unfolding patterns,
Losing any sense of separation from them.
You're lost in the unfolding patterns,
Losing any sense of separation from them.
As time goes on,
The patterns start to take on different,
More complex forms.
You're now waves crashing up against the beach on a hot summer's day,
Hitting the shore and rolling up the sand.
Then,
A shift.
You're now a selection of floating glowing orbs in a glade at night,
Surrounded by tall,
Majestic trees.
Then,
A shift.
You're now a blooming flower in a colorful orchard,
Slowly growing towards the sun's rays.
There is peace in this movement.
There is peace in not clinging to any one particular form.

There is peace in this movement.
There is peace in not clinging to any one particular form.
There is peace in not clinging to any one particular form.
There is peace in not clinging to any one particular form.
And so,
The flow of form continues,
Now moving away from the elements and nature,
And into patterns of alternate sentience instead.
For a while,
You lose yourself in the experience of being a small cat,
Prowling around,
Purring affectionately,
Cleaning your coat.
Then,
A shift.
You're imagining,
Or more accurately remembering,
What it's like to be a baby,
Gently suckling on the teat of your mother.
Then,
A shift.
You're now a houseplant in a lavish kitchen,
Standing by a beautiful window,
Cared for by your owner,
Well watered,
Well loved,
And truly content.
You're now a houseplant in a lavish kitchen,
Standing by a beautiful window,
Caring for by your owner,
Well watered,

Eventually,
Your mind begins to leave behind the microcosm,
The elements,
The plants,
And the animals,
And starts exploring the macrocosm instead.
The planets,
The moons,
And the stars.
For a while,
You feel a deep sense of peace,
A deep sense of safety,
A deep sense of knowing.
You have no earthly concerns left to feel,
No worries or anxieties,
Just peace and contentment,
With a dash of curiosity as to what will unfold next.

As your awareness grows,
You feel yourself moving away from the earth and through the moon.
As you do,
You take in its essence.
For a moment,
You feel what it's like to be the moon,
Falling around and around and around the earth,
Caught in its gravitational pull.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
And then your consciousness moves beyond the moon and out further still,
First past Mars,
Then past Jupiter,
And before you know it,
Saturn too,
Getting a little taste of each planet along the way.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
And now you find yourself moving beyond your home solar system and drifting in between stars,
Away from Sol and towards Proxima Centauri.
In between here and there you could say lies nothing,
But that's not quite the truth.
Because in the nothingness,
In the silence,
A thousand words form,
Words from the ancient times,
Words that go beyond mere speech or even symbolism,
And instead tap directly into your knowing.
It's in the journey from here to there that you truly find yourself and reawaken to your original nature.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
You are grand in nature,
Solid and stable,
A beautiful shade of dark grey,
Pocketed by marks from your past.
And so you arrive to your nearest neighbour,
The red dwarf,
Proxima Centauri.
Significantly smaller than Sol,
But beautiful just the same.
Your speed now slows,
And you approach the star with a certain softness,
Taking in its glow and radiance.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
In fact,
It feels quite the opposite.
Instead of feeling like you're somewhere alien,
Somewhere unknown,
It merely feels like you're discovering a forgotten room in a very familiar house.
There is recognition here,
And safety.
And so you fall into the star's embrace,
Not resisting its pull,
Allowing yourself to fully merge with it.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
Your perspective now shifts,
And you find yourself back in human form,
Sitting on a cool metallic bench,
Arms resting along its edges.
Looking out,
A set of huge glass windows into a cloudy mist.
You're in a vast open room surrounded by black marble,
And you feel deeply relaxed.
In response to this sense of relaxation,
You take a deep breath in,
And let out a sigh of accomplishment.
You've been on quite the journey,
That's for sure,
And you feel proud of yourself for it.
Here,
At the edge of the universe,
On the other side of infinity,
Nothing is expected from you.
Nothing at all.
And so you sit.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
You are,
In a sense,
A long way from home,
But it doesn't feel like that.
And now,
The clouds outside the windows part,
To reveal space once more.
Twinkling stars in the distance,
The empty space in between,
And a huge Earth-like planet,
Consuming the foreground.
You have arrived at a new Earth,
In the distant future,
Many googles of miles away from Terra.
You marvel at it,
Taking in all its finest details.
It looks almost identical to Terra,
But not quite.
You're gazing at its dark side,
With man-made lights peppering the surface.
But as time goes on,
A great purple sun rises on the other side of it,
And illuminates the entire space,
Your viewing deck included.
You squint slightly,
And a tingle runs up your spine.
Soon,
You'll go down to the surface.
You're gazing at its dark side,
And a tingle runs up your spine.
You're gazing at its dark side,
And a tingle runs up your spine.
Soon,
You'll go down to the surface.
You are now in a state of supreme relaxation,
Fully at ease.
This visualization meditation has either lulled you into sleep,
Or brought you right to the edge of it.
Either way,
What awaits you now is a night full of restoration and dreaming.
It's time for your body and mind to heal.
And so,
With that,
I draw this session to a close.

A nice relaxing experience, helped me get to sleep when I had been having trouble doing so. Cheers.
