The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely.

I invite you to find your most comfortable position either seated or laying down where you feel supported.

Make sure your back is upright but not uptight.

Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to the present.

Notice and allow your body to soften as you breathe.

Relax all the muscles in your face.

Relax your neck.

Your shoulders.

Relax your arms and hands.

Letting lose all the muscles in your upper body and moving all the way down to your toes.

With every exhale imagine as if you're releasing the weight of self-doubt and tension.

Keep bringing your awareness to the present.

You are here,

Safe and exactly where you need to be.

Now,

Let's explore something important.

The story you tell yourself about who you are.

Often,

Our low self-esteem comes from holding on to false stories.

Things we have internalized from the past.

But remember,

You are not your past and your past doesn't define your future.

So,

Take a mindful breath and silently repeat or listen as you breathe.

I say these affirmations.

I am not defined by my past.

I am not defined by my mistakes.

I am greater than the stories I have believed.

In this moment,

Visualize a golden light in your heart.

With every breath,

Feel it growing brighter and stronger,

Filling your entire body with warmth and love.

This light represents your true nature.

Sometimes it's called your Buddha nature that is above your ego and perspectives of yourself.

It is pure,

Whole,

And unchanging.

No matter what has happened in your life,

This light has always been there,

Waiting for you to recognize it.

So,

Take a moment to connect with this light.

Now,

Reflect on one quality you admire about yourself.

Maybe it's your kindness,

Your resilience,

Or your creativity.

And if you can't think about anything,

Simply reflect on the quality you would like to have.

Whatever it is,

Bring it into focus.

Let it remind you of your value.

Visualize yourself stepping into the world with confidence,

Carrying this light within you.

See yourself interacting with others,

Achieving your goals,

And living with ease.

Knowing your worth is not something you need to prove.

It simply is.

Now,

As you are visualizing yourself,

Visualize another version of you who is more confident sitting or standing in front of you.

How does this version of you look?

How do they stand?

And what are they doing?

What's their energy?

Take a mindful breath in and as you exhale,

Let go of the need for external validation.

Feel the freedom in knowing that you're already enough.

Instead of chasing and putting this version above you,

Sit in front of you on the same level of consciousness because it exists in this moment.

Now,

As you visualize,

Cultivate the positive emotions in your heart.

The more you connect with this emotion,

The more natural it feels to exude this confident version of you.

Now,

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this light and self-belief with you today and always because you're worthy of love,

Success,

And happiness just as you are.

Use this meditation every day for a month to completely transform your self-image.
