Welcome to your meditation to connect with the spirit of water.
Let's begin by finding a quiet comfortable space where you won't be disturbed if possible.
Of course you can be sitting or lying down.
The biggest piece here is allowing your body to fully relax.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
Let's do that one more time.
Take another really deep breath into your belly.
Exhale,
Release the tension from your body.
Allow your awareness to gently settle into your amazing body.
Feeling the weight of Mama Earth beneath you.
Imagine the most soft,
Calm energy wrapping all around you like a blanket.
Now turn your attention to your breath.
With each inhale,
Draw in clarity.
With each exhale,
Let go of any heaviness,
Confusion,
Or distraction.
Breathe in clarity.
Breathe out heaviness.
Breathe in clarity.
Breathe out heaviness.
Feel yourself sinking deeper into stillness.
Beginning to call upon the incredible spirit of water.
In your mind's eye,
Begin to imagine yourself standing at the edge of a vast body of water.
This could be an ocean,
A river,
A lake.
Maybe it's a small bubbling creek.
Whatever naturally comes to you,
Just trust whatever you see or don't.
Feel the energy of water before you.
Ancient,
Flowing,
Always moving,
Always shifting.
And notice how it calls to you.
This is the spirit of water.
The element of emotion,
Of intuition,
Flow,
And deep inner wisdom.
Take a few moments now to simply be here at the edge of the water.
Get curious and observe its color,
Its movement,
Its sound.
Now,
When you're ready,
Silently or out loud,
Call to the spirit of water.
Spirit of water,
I call upon you now.
I come to you with a humble heart,
Seeking guidance.
I ask that you show me what my life's focus should be at this time.
Flow through me,
Clear me,
And reveal my path.
Feel the gentle shift in the air as the spirit of water acknowledges your call.
Now imagine yourself stepping forward and gently touching the water.
Feel its coolness against your skin.
And with each touch,
You feel a stronger connection forming.
It's almost as if the water recognizes you,
Welcomes you,
And sees your soul.
Slowly begin to step into the water.
It's safe.
First your feet,
Then your ankles,
And then your knees.
With each step,
You feel safe.
You feel lighter.
Somehow you feel clearer and even more open.
As you move deeper into the water,
You realize that the spirit of water has a message for you.
This message may come as words.
Maybe it's an image,
A feeling,
Or simply a deep knowing.
Allow the spirit of water to flow through you now and show you the answers to these questions.
What is my life's focus right now?
Where should my energy flow right now?
And what am I being called to create,
Shift,
Or embrace in this season of my life?
And as you are noticing already,
Simply receive these messages.
The spirit of water may be showing you a symbol or an image.
It could be a word or words or phrases.
You may have received a physical feeling or a deep emotion,
Or just knowing deep within your bones.
Trust whatever has arised for you.
Allow some space for any other questions that you have for the spirit of water.
I'll guide you back in a moment's time.
Now slowly bring your attention to your heart space.
Imagine the messages that you received from the spirit of water sinking into your heart like a drop of water.
See the messages rippling out,
Expanding and integrating into your beingness.
And even if the message wasn't crystal clear,
Know and trust that it will continue to unfold in the coming hours,
Days,
Or weeks.
Water is subtle,
But persistent.
Trust its flow.
And then take a deep breath in,
And exhale out.
Place your hands over your heart now and whisper softly,
Thank you,
Spirit of water,
For your guidance and clarity.
I honor your wisdom and will carry it forward.
And begin to feel the presence of water slowly pulling back,
Like a tide that's returning to the sea.
But you aren't left empty.
Instead,
You are filled.
Filled with clarity,
With guidance,
And the energy of flow.
So now,
You carry the spirit of water within you.
Let it guide your next steps.
And slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body.
Feel your feet on the ground and your hands resting gently.
Your body supported.
Take a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Wiggling and bringing movement into your fingers and your toes,
Maybe giving your neck a stir.
You can bow your head down and slowly begin to blink open your eyes.
And then before you begin to move on with your day,
Maybe you take a moment to journal or voice record any wisdom you received.
And when you feel uncertain or unclear again in life,
Remember that you can always return back to the spirit of water.
It's always present.
It's always flowing.
It's always guiding you and calling you back to your true path.
And may you trust the flow of your journey.
