I wrote the first part of the song 9 months ago after being touched by beautiful calligraphy by Thích Nhất Hạnh - Tôi đang không ngủ mơ đâu, ngày hôm nay đẹp lắm thật mà - loosely translated as I am not dreaming at all, today is indeed a beautiful day. And recently, when being so fortunate to be given a chance to work, live and practice in Mindful Living Land Practice Centre (Miền Tỉnh Thức) by Thầy Minh Niệm - a great Zen teacher I was inspired and wrote the rest of the song in Tieng Viet.
