Welcome,

To creating your inner heart sanctuary.

In this guided meditation,

You're going to be creating a beautiful,

Peaceful inner sanctuary within your heart space.

To begin,

Find yourself a comfortable position,

Close your eyes,

And begin by taking a few slow deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose,

And exhaling slowly through your mouth.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Imagine yourself standing at the entrance of a beautiful garden.

Picture a serene landscape unfolding before you,

With lush greenery,

Colourful flowers,

And a gentle stream flowing nearby.

Feel a sense of calm and tranquility wash over you as you step into this sacred space.

Take a moment to explore your surroundings,

Noticing the sights,

The sounds,

And the sensations around you.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,

The gentle breeze rustling through the trees,

And the soothing sounds of birdsong that fill the air.

Now,

Begin to make your way towards the centre of the garden,

Where you see a magnificent tree standing tall and proud.

This tree represents the sanctuary within your heart.

As you approach the tree,

You feel a sense of anticipation building within you,

A sense of excitement,

And a drawing,

An energy that's drawing you closer and closer to this tree.

You can immediately feel that this is a place of peace,

Safety,

And serenity,

A refuge from the outside world where you can always find solace and comfort.

Stand before the tree and reach out to touch its trunk.

Underneath your hands,

You feel the rough texture of the bark grounding you now into this present moment.

With every breath,

Feel yourself becoming more deeply connected to the energy of the tree,

As if you are merging with its strength and its stability.

Now,

Visualize a doorway appearing at the base of the tree.

This doorway leads to your inner sanctuary,

A sacred space within your heart where you can retreat whenever you need to find peace and renewal.

Gently touch the door and allow it to swing open.

Step through the doorway and into your inner heart sanctuary.

Take a moment now to look around you and notice the details of this sacred space within your heart.

Perhaps you see a cozy sitting area,

A sparkling pool of water,

Or a soft bed of moss where you can rest and recharge.

This is your sanctuary,

A place that is uniquely yours where you can connect with your inner wisdom,

Your inner heart,

And find refuge from the chaos of the world whenever you need.

Decorate this internal space in a way that feels comforting,

Fitting,

Warm,

And safe for you.

Take some time now to fully explore your inner heart sanctuary.

Allow yourself to be fully immersed in its beauty and tranquility.

Feel the peace and the serenity washing over you,

Filling you with a deep sense of calm and contentment.

As you breathe,

Feel any stress that you're holding onto release,

Any tension and any tightness in your body completely relaxes.

Know that you can return to this sanctuary whenever you need to find peace,

Whenever you need a space to relax,

To unwind,

Or to simply be with yourself.

It's always here for you in the center of your heart,

Ready to welcome you with open arms and hold you in its peaceful,

Calm embrace.

When you're ready,

Take a few moments to leave your inner heart sanctuary,

Gently close the door behind you in the stable,

Sturdy tree,

And to slowly walk back to the edge of the garden.

Begin to bring your awareness now back into the present moment.

Wiggle your toes and move your fingers.

Pay attention to the rising and falling of your chest as you breathe,

And slowly become more aware of your surroundings.

When you're ready,

Take a few more deep breaths,

Gently and slowly,

And begin to open your eyes.

Know that you carry your inner heart sanctuary with you wherever you go.

This is something that you can access no matter where you are,

No matter what's happening in the world around you.

You can simply close your eyes,

Quieten your mind,

And escape to the tranquility and peace of your inner heart space.

As you sit now feeling refreshed and renewed,

Know that this peace is always there in the centre of your heart,

And carry it with you throughout your day.
