Welcome,

Folks,

To this meditation.

I don't normally date the meditations,

But this is the spring equinox.

This is a cool day to be meditating.

So let's walk into this day with.

.

.

Let's walk into this daily,

This meditation,

Maybe with a little bit of.

.

.

You should have used in our veins the sap is rising.

Just look out your window and just sense that starting again of the year,

The bugs on the trees,

The spring in the step of the folks that you see around you,

The greetings that you're getting these days with,

What a lovely day.

Just close your eyes when you're ready and just allow yourself to enjoy that sense of spring awakening as you are also stepping into this meditation for your own awakening,

Wherever you feel you are on that path or whether you maybe don't even think of it as just feeling more effective than you're seeing,

A great sense of belonging in the world,

Whatever these meditations bring you.

Maybe just a little moment of calm.

You can imagine if you will,

All this as part of your own awakening to yourself.

And just like the spring,

There's some bits of it that go fast.

The colts which is already pushing its head up.

Making people think that the dandelions are maybe coming early this year,

But they're not.

They're taking their time.

They'll come when they're ready.

And for now the colts which will stick its head up and the primroses start to throw themselves.

And so many of the early colors are yellow,

Wouldn't they,

After you've had that first blast of the snowdrops.

It's quite a lot of yellow in the early spring flowers.

If you're lucky enough to live somewhere where there's no good screams or burns,

You might start seeing the marsh marigolds poking their heads up.

And for me all that yellow reflects the strength of the sun coming in.

I want it to start to touch us more on our skin,

Make us ponder the wearing of thoughts,

Even if we're not quite ready to do so yet.

It makes us search for our sunglasses and that sun can be so nurturing,

So warm.

It really moves us in a way that warms from other things.

It just doesn't do the same.

The warmth of water can make you feel cozy from a blanket,

Can make you feel cozy instantly.

The warmth of the sun just brings life somehow.

Let's just imagine that we are all standing outside.

Let's imagine ourselves maybe in a field and we have bare feet.

The ground is still cold.

We're still holding the wet and the cold from the winter.

The dew overnight.

There's the sun playing on our face.

We can feel it seeping into our skin.

We can feel it moving us.

We can sense our own energetic fat rising.

Let's just allow that sun to touch our skins,

To penetrate a little bit deeper through the skin,

Through the layers of tissue underneath,

The tendons,

The muscles,

All the way down to our bones,

Into the very marrow.

We know that sun is so good for us.

As you're inviting in this nurturing quality of the thumb,

Just notice your breathing.

As we stand here in our imagination with our feet firmly on the ground,

Maybe our palms are facing upwards to the sun.

We're just hanging by our side.

For a few moments,

Let's just really consciously deepen our breath so that we imagine ourselves to be taking in not only lungfuls of fear,

But lungfuls of the warmth from the sun.

We can imagine the warmth of the sun coming in through our noses or our mouths.

Let's imagine that warmth radiating throughout our heads,

Swirling round our eyes,

Our nose,

Our mouths,

Our ears,

The top of our head,

The back of our head,

All the way down our neck and into our shoulders,

And the warmth from this sun is just so nourishing.

It just allows everything to relax,

To release.

We take in another breath and the warmth from the sun again is invited in.

This time it travels into our shoulders.

Let's imagine it goes all the way down our arms,

Across our elbows,

Across our wrists,

And into the palms of our hands.

All the way to our fingertips,

The warmth of this sun touching,

Nurturing,

Allowing a relaxation for all the tendons and muscles it touches,

Allowing an enlivening of the energy that runs through our bodies.

The sun is just gently warming,

Gently nurturing.

It's like life is almost caressing us with its warmth.

And on your next breath,

Let's fill our lungs and our heart with the warmth from the sun.

Let's allow it to circulate around our upper chest,

Swirling round our heart,

Softening,

Supporting.

Another breath,

Another invitation of the warmth from the sun to come in,

And this time it swells a little bit further down from around our rib cage.

And let's take time to allow that sun to penetrate all the areas of our chest,

In between the rib cages to the back of our spine,

Swirling round and round.

And on the next breath,

Our sun warmth is drawn to our solar plexus.

That's the anaphytic space we have just below our rib cage,

Our upper abdomen.

And when we invite this warmth of the sun to here,

There's a real fizzing that might take place.

There's a real energetic bond attracting all the things that are similar,

That welcome each other.

So just breathe in,

Breathe in deeply and allow the warmth of the sun to come through your solar plexus and replenish it,

Refill it.

It's almost like it's a battery for you,

Like it's one of these big reserve batteries.

And if the day turns cloudy or you have to spend a little bit too much time inside,

You can turn to your solar plexus and just remember these sun breaths,

Remember this welcoming in of the sun.

And let's breathe in and out here a few times,

Let's really build up that energy store.

You can imagine the indicator on your solar plexus after you go in from amber to green,

And then just higher and higher,

Stronger and stronger.

And as you're breathing in this sun's energy into your own energy store,

Just really allow your diaphragm to push outwards to get as big a breath as possible into your lungs,

Extending it down to your stomach,

Pushing your belly out.

And it's the storage of the sun's energy,

It can be very compact in the solar plexus,

But it becomes very dense every time you breathe in,

More and more gets stored in this space.

And as you're sitting in this space,

Enjoying this space,

Just welcome and allow for any interruptions that might be happening.

You may find that people and animals are attracted to you for this,

This sense of core energy center.

Trying to like you're creating your own little universe within yourself with your energy core at the center.

But always remember this energy core is fed by the sun,

The universe's sun,

You have that connection all the time.

I should take a couple more deep,

Deep breaths into that solar plexus,

Consciously filling up the solar plexus with the energy from the sun.

Then we can move on for a few moments,

We can allow the warmth from the sun to sink a little lower.

Allow it to sink to our lower tummy.

Allow it to massage and nurture and feed all the organs in our lower tummy.

Allow it to swirl around our pelvic cavity.

Allow that warmth to penetrate all these tissues and tendons and nerves,

Some that are maybe a little tight.

This warmth from the sun can just invite a relaxation,

Can release any nerve endings that might be causing pain down the back of the legs.

Just breathe that warmth into the,

You can imagine it coming into the nerve endings and imagine it working its way through the lines of the nerve,

Just softening,

Warming,

Causing them to relax,

Causing you to be more okay with whatever it is that you're having to sit with,

Deal with.

And another breath,

Another invitation for the warmth from this sun to come in,

Travel down through our chest area,

Through our stomach.

And this time it's traveling down in our legs,

All the way down past our knees,

Past our ankles and into our feet,

Into the heels of our feet and all the way round into the balls of our feet and into our toes.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

All the way into our toes.

Just allow that warmth from the sun to nurture every issue,

Every muscle.

Allow it to warm up your energy,

Just like the sap rising in trees.

So now you have this sense of being nurtured,

This sense of warmth from the sun,

From your toes,

Ankles,

Heels,

Hips,

Through the energy center of your solar plexus,

Coming to your ribs,

Your heart,

Shoulders,

And passing down to your hands and also up your neck and all round your face.

Still just standing outside in our bare feet,

Arms outstretched to the thumb or just hanging closely by our sides.

Just allow yourself to breathe into that.

Allow yourself to think into the breath.

Perhaps for a few moments you'd like to run back up and down your body,

That whole sense of being alive,

Nurtured,

Warmed by the sun.

Or maybe you'd like to take a few more breaths and fill that energy center.

Just take a few moments then.

Do whatever feels right for you at the moment.

Letting your solar plexus or enjoying that sense of all this energy supporting you,

Nurturing you.

Or maybe both.

Why not be both?

If at any point you feel like your own energy center is feeling depleted,

You're feeling low in energy,

You can come back to this and focus on your solar plexus and just check,

Just check how much energy you feel like you still have there,

What could be shared around your body.

And then you can either go outside in a physical reality and soak up the sun.

Refuel yourself.

Or you can go in this meditative state and just imagine yourself in that position,

Imagine the warmth of the sun,

Touching your skin,

Penetrating all the way down,

Filling your solar plexus with its warmth.

Just allow this to be you deserve it as much as the next person.

And you wouldn't deny this energy,

This sense of being connected to the sun to anyone else.

Let's not deny it for ourselves.

Let's just take a last few breaths for this meditation.

You're feeding the solar plexus or allowing that energy to swirl around your body.

Whatever feels right for you to do in the moment.

Just enjoy that for a few more breaths before you start the walk back up to the surface,

Walking back out to your sense of self in your room,

In your living room,

Wherever you're listening from.

Whenever you're ready,

Just take a last few deep breaths and use these to walk completely back to the surface.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Okay.
