Hi everybody,
Welcome to your spring reset with me Heather.
We're going to do a move that's going to help us create some space.
In traditional Chinese medicine,
We've entered the wood element which is associated with spring.
We've been in the water element where everything's been more inwards and underground and we're now shooting up through and when that is harmonious,
We feel this creative energy,
We want to get moving,
We want to start new projects.
If it's a little bit stagnant and it just means that maybe we've not got the space and that can feel irritating,
It can even bring up anger.
So we're going to transmute all of that with this Qigong today.
Alright,
So.
I invite you now just to bring your hands together.
And create some heat in the laugang points.
We're going to open the hand up,
Take a nice breath in.
Exhale out through the mouth.
Into the hands.
Beautiful.
Inhale,
Raise the hands up.
Clap them together,
Drop them down over your head.
Come and sweep down the back of your neck.
And just gently hold your shoulders here.
Press into your shoulders.
Beautiful.
We're going to cross.
Release one hand,
Cross it over to the opposite hip.
So we're going to do the other side.
So we pull the muscle of the shoulder down to the opposite hip.
Okay,
We're going to come to the cheekbones and we're just going to tap into the cheekbones.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
We're gonna come to the sternum,
We're gonna tap into the sternum.
Great and then we're going to come to just under the clavicle bone here we have our k27 we're going to press in here If there's a bit of stagnancy and the Qi is needing more flow,
This is the most perfect point.
We can rub it and then we can tap it.
This is a wonderful point for helping energy to go in the right direction.
Supporting the chief.
And then we go.
Down to the spleen and tap here.
Very detoxifying.
So just at the side of the rib where your bra line is,
Tap here.
Good.
And then we're going to place our hands on our kidneys.
Find your kidneys by finding your hip bone.
Come in and rub here.
We're going to then come down the backs of the legs.
Sweeping down the legs all the way to the feet come up the inside of the legs and then we're going to come to our belly and we're going to gently nourish this center of ours Allow the breath to expand.
But they barely fill out.
And then the opposite way.
And just allow the belly to relax.
Fantastic.
Okay,
Now I invite you to take your right foot forward.
Interlace your hands and we're going to send our hands and palms up to the sky and I want you to really push.
Against as if you're pressing on a ceiling.
We're going to put the weight into the front right foot and we're going to lift the back leg.
And flip the foot round.
Like a fish.
And we want to have the underside of the foot facing up.
We lift and lengthen,
Look right over like a banana sheep and we're going to come and look at the fourth toe.
So here we're working with the gallbladder.
Associated with spring and the wood element.
And it starts in the eyes,
Goes right up over the head like a vice.
Uh all the way around so any kind of headaches and things can be to do with the gallbladder and we go right down and stretch it from the side of the body right to the fourth toe.
Good.
OK,
And release.
Let's go to the other side.
We take the left foot forward now.
Interlace the hands.
Spread the hands up to the sky.
Again shift the weight forward.
Flip the foot,
Lift and lengthen and look.
Your fourth toe.
It's not that easy so get this feeling of pressing.
Pushing,
You're pushing your hip out,
You're lengthening to the side and you're looking at your toe.
So the eyes are very much involved.
In the spring energy as well.
Vision.
Our vision forward.
Okay,
And then come to the center.
We're going to take our legs nice and wide now.
Knees and out.
And if you can imagine that the liver is where and it's on the right side.
So if you're mirroring me,
It's on your right side.
Is one of the biggest organs that can regenerate itself but it also holds it's like our chemical processing center and it also holds the energy and the emotions of anger and frustration so we're going to transmute it to the earth so we spread our fingers out We're going to make the sound of shoo,
S-H-O-O-O-O,
As we push this into the earth.
I also want you to imagine the feeling that you've had.
Maybe it's a person or a place or something that has angered you.
Upset you.
So we're going to let it out.
Keep the eyes nice and open.
We inhale,
We roll the arms back.
And we exhale and we Out to the air.
Okay,
Inhale.
With that sound.
Good.
Keep going.
Now think of it.
What has angered you?
What has bothered you?
Imagine it going to the earth.
Mother Earth will take care of it.
Feel it released.
One more.
And release.
Well done.
We're going to bring our hands to the inside of our legs.
Inhale,
Raise the chest up.
Exhale round the back.
Here we are.
Just allowing this balance now.
Into the reservoirs of the extraordinary vessels from the channel.
Meridian channel of the gallbladder and liver.
Good.
Again,
Breathing in.
And breathing out lovely and then we're going to take our hands my legs nice and wide i want you to face the hands to the earth close your eyes knees out nice and wide And I want you to imagine the core of the Earth.
We're going to breathe in up the legs.
All the way to the crown of our head with this breath and imagine some green light.
And then as you exhale,
I want you to imagine this green light going down through your shoulders,
Out your arms and out the Lao Gong points in the palm of your hands.
Okay,
So breathing in from the core of the air.
Through the legs,
Through the body,
Take the legs nice and wide and feel the feet on the air.
And then exhale down through your arms and out the palm of your hand.
Now just keep going with that.
Using the breath.
To guide the green light.
You can breathe in through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
Last one.
Fantastic and just relax your arms relax yourself stay in this stance this primordial stance keep your eyes closed and just notice how you feel Reminding yourself that you're calm and you're.
.
.
Relaxation and peace is your power.
Bring your hand into a fist,
Take the other hand around.
We just finished traditionally with this little bow.
And with that,
We have finished.
Our little spring reset thank you so much for joining me have a wonderful wonderful day
