Welcome to this forecast for 2025 using I Ching readings.
Before we move into the readings I would like to share with you a background and nature of the I Ching.
I Ching translates literally into English as the book of changes.
Its theme is change and regeneration.
In other words how one should respond to or deal with the changes one will inevitably face in life.
And this is the purpose of the I Ching to help those who consult it learn from and benefit from change and to develop positive responses to change no matter whether the change itself is considered negative or positive.
This can be done by learning how to go with the flow rather than directly opposing it or resisting it.
To deal with change in this way is to be truly creative both in the present and for the future.
You are able to let go or free yourself from the past from ways of thinking feeling and behaving that are no longer relevant or rewarding but may be stagnant even harmful.
I Ching offers to help an individual change things in the present and thus alter their future.
Now the I Ching does not specifically predict or prescribe what the future outcome of any present situation will be.
Instead it indicates what it believes are suitable courses of action to take in any particular situation and in so doing invites us to consider its suggestions giving them careful thought before we come to our final decision about which course to take which choice to make.
The text of the I Ching would be more accurately termed a collection of texts written and expanded through different periods of early and later Chinese history.
The I Ching is the most ancient and venerable book in Chinese culture written and added to over many centuries.
It is a compendium of historically accumulated learning and understanding a lore of wit and wisdom composed of a rich mixture of poetry,
Philosophy,
Psychology,
Worldly wisdom,
Practical advice,
Social insight and understanding.
Because of its importance to the Chinese philosophies of Confucianism and Daoism it has been preserved through the ages.
It is not however a book meant to be read straight through.
One could see it as an interactive text because we do something with it beyond the usual activities involved in reading and studying the text.
Personally I have been working spiritually with the Dao Te Ching for more than a decade and in that same time I have been working professionally with the language of yin yang which forms the basis of the Dao Te Ching and the I Ching and it is through these two different veins that I have come to work first personally and then professionally with the I Ching.
So to establish the related reading I use a process of what is known in kinesiology as muscle testing which in effect is frequency testing.
So we test the frequency of one item or aspect in relation to another.
In this instance the two frequency groups are a time so the year 2025 in relation to the frequency group of the human population on earth at that time.
Then I find the harmonizing frequency match of the related hexagram from the I Ching and each hexagram is comprised of a different composition of yin yang language.

To prepare please find a comfortable position somewhere where you can really be relaxed in both your body and your mind.
Take a few deep breaths in and out.
As you're doing so just allow your muscles to relax more and more,
Soften the facial muscles and create some space between yourself and any distractions,
Any worries.
Bringing yourself more and more into the present moment.
If it helps to close your eyes please do so.
Otherwise simply keep your eyes focused on one spot as they remain relaxed and calm.
Now if you can repeat with me.
I trust 100% that the information I'm about to receive is relevant and I trust that my interpretation is accurate and aligned with my highest purpose.
Taking another deep breath in.
Relaxing the body a little bit further,
Emptying the mind just a little bit more.
In the first part of this reading we are looking at an overview for 2025 and here the hexagram number 38 is relevant.
The lower triagram refers to a marsh and the upper triagram refers to fire.
The overarching message from this hexagram is caution,
Slow and steady.
Fire as we know flames upwards whereas water flows downwards.
So here we've got two opposing directions which can cause disharmony.
It could also be indicating feeling tugged in two opposing directions.
Here are some wise words directly from the I Ching.
Keep your sights set low attempting only small undertakings and try to find common ground wherever you can.
Respond calmly and resolutely to difficulties that arise.
Act honestly and sincerely at all times and do things properly.
Do not take advantage of others and make sure no one takes advantage of you.
Remain optimistic in the face of challenges ahead,
Remembering that opposition will be superseded by harmony.
Any division you may face is only temporary and harmony will eventually be restored.
Don't try to sort everything out at once when things are going badly.
You will get back to a harmonious situation by taking things one step at a time.
Retaining your integrity and freedom of thought and will are the most important things in life.
Take a few deep breaths in and out and remember that this is the overarching message for a period of 12 months.
In other words it is not the detailed message for day to day,
Week to week,
Month to month.

If we look at this hexagram number 38 which is entitled opposition,
It is wise to remember that we are coming out of a time of great chaos and there is a time of integration necessary.
This is what the underlying message and the message in the nuclear trigrams are referring to.
And we can also see this quite clearly in the repetition of the fact that harmony will come and in order for that to translate in our daily lives we need to play our part.
Now what does that mean for you in relation to the message that you've just heard?
What is the part you need to play in your life,
In your very personal life as well as in the greater scheme of things?
Take a few deep breaths and just allow a flow of responses to come through.
They don't have to make sense.
It's just allowing your whole self to integrate this information now.
I'm going to give you a minute to allow that response to flow through.
And slowly bring your attention back to your breath as you allow your focus to gently move from your responses,
From the reading to your whole body,
Feeling yourself grounding down,
Maybe just taking a moment to move a little bit,
Have some water.
As we prepare now to move into the second part of this reading and this is now focusing on the first half of 2025,
January to June.
Let's take a deep breath in,
Relax the body,
Open the mind,
Open the heart and trust.
And the hexagram most supportive for January to June 2025 is number 19.
And this hexagram is called the Advance.
Now interestingly,
The lower trigram is the Marsh and the upper trigram is Earth.
So while there is a similarity to the previous hexagram,
Number 38,
Which spoke to the full year,
By looking in more detail to the first six months,
We see now that while there may be a struggle for harmony,
Even during this time,
There will be experiences of great progress and success.
From the words of the I Ching,
There will be no need for force.
What will be required is proper conduct and a sense of caution.
You are in an impressively favorable situation,
But remember that things don't last.
So beware of letting any good fortune go to your head.
Keep in mind that things change.
Maintain honesty and sincerity.
Share your good fortune with others.
And while your star remains in the ascendancy and you continue to act properly,
You can enjoy your success.
So here we start to see the conversations taking place between these two trigrams,
Where they are both talking about caution and remaining true.
One way of looking at the overarching message,
Along with this more detailed message,
Is that there will be success and progress and growth and development while the struggle for harmony continues,
And remembering that struggle is often part of growth and development.
Please take a moment to exhale,
To inhale,
To relax the body,
Relax the mind.
And then simply allow first responses to come through in whatever way or form is right for your system at the moment.
I'm going to give you a minute just to integrate that and to be personally present with your response for hexagram number 19.
Slowly bringing your focus to your breath again and releasing,
Letting go of any and all mental attention.
Just bring your awareness completely to the physical body,
Feeling it grounding down,
Maybe taking just a few moments of movement,
Taking a few sips of water,
As we now are going to prepare to move into the hexagram for July to December 2025.
Let's take a deep breath in,
Exhale,
And it is number 40.
And number 40 shows in the lower triagram water,
And in the upper triagram thunder.
So thunder above water.
And the title of this hexagram is called Removing Obstacles.
I'm going to move straight into a passage from the I Ching.
After a prolonged period of trial and obstruction,
A great new direction is open to you.
You have a great opportunity.
As all the troubles that have beset you fade away and you approach an unprecedented time of growth and development,
You are now in a position to forgive and forget.
The only thing you have to guard against now is failing to act boldly and timeously in progressing towards a worthy aim.
Take full advantage of your fortunate circumstances.
So if we go back to the image of the hexagram,
It suggests a tension-releasing,
Cleansing effect of a massive thunderstorm,
That struggle for harmony that we heard about that is an overarching theme throughout the whole year.
Now with this hexagram,
Ideas of releasing pent-up power and deliverance from constraint are all suggested.
In other words,
It's time to move into a better future and to forget the troubles of the past.
Clearing the air is necessary to resolve disputes and tensions and come to better terms with things and people so that one can move forward.
And one will be able to see more clearly the best direction when one has literally cleared the air.
Take a moment to notice what thoughts,
Images,
Physical sensations,
Responses come through for you right now as you contemplate the reading that you've just heard,
Hexagram number 40,
Removing obstacles.
Just going to take a minute to allow whatever would like to come to the surface,
To the conscious mind,
To do so in a place of safety,
Of calm and of trusting your own intuition.
Bringing your attention back to the breath now and into your body,
Slowly releasing any and all mental focus as you gently and intentionally ground yourself,
Connecting with what you are seated on.
If your eyes have been closed,
Very gently start to open them and start to integrate into your environment,
Into the here and now.
If there are any troubles or concerns as part of your response to any of these readings,
It can be helpful to immediately do some journaling because that assists the process of processing and it will help the integration between subconscious and conscious.
And do continue with the contemplation that you've been experiencing in this process of each reading,
Remembering that it is a participatory experience.
