Welcome to House of Wellbeing.
This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio you're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental well-being.
Find a comfortable place where you have limited interruptions.
Now I want you to take a long breath in.
Hold it for a count of four and then breathe out for a count of six.
Once again when you're ready take a long deep breath in for a count of four.
Hold it for a count of four and then breathe out for a count of six.
And I want you to imagine that you're on a beautiful beach.
Maybe it's a tropical beach on a beautiful island or a shore or a coastal beach that brings back positive childhood memories.
Or perhaps it's a beach with fond memories that you created with friends,
Families or loved ones.
Wherever it may be you love it here.
It's your special place.
And as you walk along the beach you can feel the water rushing onto the shore covering your feet and then washing out to sea again.
Bringing with it a feeling of relaxation that washes over you.
The sun is warm and inviting.
As you turn your face towards the sky the warmth on your face feels so calming and soothing.
Nothing is needed of you here.
This time is just for you.
Time to put yourself first.
On your beach you can relax and let go as you take this time to recharge and unwind.
There's a gentle breeze caressing your face helping you to feel cool and calm in your special place.
You listen to the soft sounds of the crashing waves washing in and washing out.
You feel calmness washing over you.
The sea relaxes you with its rhythmic movements washing in calmness and relaxation and washing out worries,
Anxieties and tension.
You notice more sounds around you.
Perhaps you can hear birds flying above you in the sky.
Maybe you can hear coconuts falling from a tree behind you or fish splashing in the sea.
You love these sounds as they help soothe you.
Making you feel more relaxed,
More at peace.
Helping you to relax your mind and body.
You notice a hammock in the distance barely swaying in the breeze beneath a palm tree.
You walk over to the hammock wanting to take a little rest.
You gently crawl in and lay down letting the hammock cradle you in the shade and you close your eyes as the hammock swings from side to side mesmerizing and soothing you into a deep state of relaxation.
Each time the hammock swings you feel more and more relaxed like its rhythm is releasing tension bringing tranquility and calmness.
In a moment the hammock is going to sway three times and each time it sways you will triple your relaxation.
Starting now three going deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Two releasing any tension feeling yourself sinking deeper into the hammock and one your relaxation has tripled.
You now feel total calmness throughout your mind and body.
I'm going to give you a minute now to enjoy this time.
The breeze on your face,
Your hammock gently swaying relaxing more and more.
Enjoy the quietness as you sink down into the hammock listening to the ocean washing into the shore.
Feeling more and more relaxed.
You're now in a deep state of relaxation where your subconscious mind is now open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you but you no longer need out-of-date emotions that no longer serve you.
Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.
Sometimes when we're hurting there's justification for our hurt and it's normal to feel turmoil or pain.
But when we hold on to our hurt we're emotionally holding on to negative energy that just isn't healthy for us.
So forgiveness is a great tool and so effective for healing deep wounds.
Forgiveness does not necessarily come easily but studies have shown that forgiving others produces strong psychological benefits for the one who forgives.
Studies have shown that forgiveness can decrease depression,
Anxiety,
Unhealthy anger and can lead to psychological healing.
So today and each day moving forward we're going to practice working on our forgiveness.
From now on in you can make a conscious effort not to talk disparagingly about those who've hurt you.
You don't have to say good things but if you refrain from talking negatively you feed the more forgiving side of your mind and heart.
You make a practice of recognizing that every person is unique,
Special and irreplaceable.
Everyone has been raised differently,
Has different values and morals and sometimes this leads to actions and behaviors that we just don't agree with.
If you examine some of the details in the life of the person who harmed you you can often see more clearly what wounds they carry and start to develop more empathy for them.
First try to imagine them as an innocent child needing love and support.
Did they get that from their childhood?
You may be able to put an entire narrative together for the person who hurt you from early childhood through to adulthood or simply imagine it from what you know.
You may recognize them as a vulnerable person who has been wounded and hence wounded you in return.
Despite what they may have done to you you realize that they perhaps didn't deserve to suffer either.
You practice small acts of forgiveness and mercy each and every day.
Extending care when someone upsets you in everyday life for instance perhaps you can refrain from beeping your horn when someone cuts you off in traffic or perhaps not start an argument when your partner snaps at you.
Sometimes pride and power can weaken your efforts to forgive by making you feel entitled and inflated so that you hang on to your resentment as a noble cause.
You now catch yourself when you're acting from this place as you choose forgiveness instead.
Empathy is connected to forgiveness and it's an important step in your forgiveness process.
So you're more empathetic to others and what they're going through and the life experiences they have had.
I'd like you now to use your powerful imagination to see yourself standing in a room surrounded by people that you admire for their ability to forgive and to be empathetic.
Take a moment to think of these people now.
It may be loved ones,
Family,
Work colleagues,
Celebrities or just people you've heard of.
It may be one person or many more.
I'll give you a moment now to think of that person.
Now imagine these people have a ribbon in their hands and they're surrounding you.
Walk towards them and pick up the other end of the ribbon.
I'd like you now to imagine all their forgiveness and empathetic energy going from their body and flowing into yours.
As you feel your mind and body now fueling up with more forgiveness and empathy.
Forgiveness is a process that takes time,
Patience and determination.
So you're patient with yourself.
You have forgiveness and energy from those you admire now.
So this process will start to come much more easily for you.
If there are times you find it hard to forgive you try not to be hard on yourself.
Having positive kind self-talk,
Being gentle with your words,
Fostering a sense of inner acceptance and love.
Sometimes we need to learn self-forgiveness and it's less about forgiving others and more about forgiving actions we've taken.
Most of us tend to be harder on ourselves than we are on others as we struggle to love ourselves.
Remember to offer yourself what you offer to others who have hurt you.
A sense of inherent worth despite your actions.
In self-forgiveness you honor yourself as a person even if you are imperfect.
If you've broken your personal standards in a serious way you'll recognize this and move towards self-compassion.
Softening your heart towards yourself.
You accept that everyone is imperfect and that making mistakes is part of being human.
Before you can forgive you recognize and validate the pain or hurt you feel.
You know that suppressing emotions can hinder the process but understanding them now allows your healing to begin.
You don't have to agree with or condone the behavior of others but accepting that the event occurred will help you move forward as you refuse now to be stuck in the past.
Forgiveness doesn't mean excusing the other person.
It's about releasing the emotional burden for your own peace.
It's a gift you give to yourself to let go of resentment.
Knowing the positive benefits it brings your mind and body.
You now try to see things from the other person's perspective.
Understanding their background,
Struggles or intentions all help you to soften the anger or hurt you feel towards them.
You establish healthy boundaries to protect yourself with others while still letting go of past grievances.
Sometimes we hold on to hurt because we expect an apology or acknowledgement.
You now let go of the need for validation from others and choose to forgive for your own growth.
You shift your mindset from the hurtful event to the lessons you've gained.
Challenges often teach resilience,
Self-worth or empathy.
Growth through hardship can make forgiveness easier and you say to yourself each and every day,
I choose to forgive and release the past.
Allowing peace into my heart.
I let go of anger and resentment and I embrace compassion and understanding.
Forgiveness brings me freedom and I deserve to be free.
I release all hurt and pain making space for love and healing.
I forgive others not for them but for my own peace of mind.
Each moment is a new opportunity to let go and move forward.
I choose to focus on the present and not allow the past to control me.
I forgive myself for my mistakes and allow myself to grow.
Forgiveness is a gift I give myself and it brings me inner peace.
I am worthy of forgiveness and I release any guilt or shame holding me back.
You feel so much lighter with the weight of anger,
Resentment,
Bitterness,
Shame and guilt released from your body as you embrace forgiveness.
Releasing negative feelings that have weighed you down.
You feel less stressed and much calmer each and every day.
You have a positive mindset and a greater emotional stability.
Your overall well-being and health start to improve as well as your relationships with loved ones.
You now focus on the present and future without being weighed down by old wounds.
This shift now improves overall life satisfaction and happiness.
You have a deeper sense of compassion,
Purpose and connection to others now.
Your resilience is strong as you handle future challenges with more grace and understanding.
You're able to forgive and forget more now in order to reap the positive benefits this brings to your mind and overall health.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready you'll gently emerge from your state of relaxation.
Open your eyes feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
