Welcome to this Red Bindu Yoga Nidra.
Finding your way into a comfortable Shavasana shape,
Lying on your back,
Perhaps on the floor,
Perhaps in your bed.
Taking a few minutes or as long as you need to to make adjustments,
Settle,
Get comfy.
Setting everything up just so,
So you can be as comfortable as possible.
And really drop into the practice.
And the practice of Yoga Nidra,
It's really a practice of receiving.
We want to let go of any effort.
We just allow ourselves to be taken on a ride.
All you have to do is follow my voice.
Your body is going to get to take a nap.
Maybe get some deep rejuvenation as you simply receive the transmission in this particular practice of the Red Bindu.
This powerful portal in the energy body that can give us access to a sense of greater confidence,
Being more embodied,
More grounded,
But also more alive and vibrant.
There's like this vitality that comes with a healthy,
Active Red Bindu.
It's power and life force that becomes available for creative expression of all kinds,
For being able to make things happen in the world and just to feel more delicious in our own skin.
So making any final adjustments now to your posture.
Closing the eyes if you haven't already.
And take a few really deep breaths.
Deep,
Full inhales.
And long,
Slow exhales.
With each exhale,
Allowing yourself to get more and more pleasantly heavy.
Sometimes I like to imagine it's like the force of gravity gets turned up a couple notches.
It's the sense of,
In a delicious way,
Getting like pulled down into the earth.
Let yourself surrender and just be so held.
Bring your awareness to your Red Bindu.
It could be a glimmering,
Powerful point of ruby red light in the low belly.
And perhaps it's more like a little ball of radiant ruby red light there.
Just notice how it feels in your body in this moment.
It's okay if you don't quite fully feel it yet.
You can just imagine it there.
In the space of your womb or where your womb would be if you had one.
Feel the warmth there.
The source of your aliveness,
Your sensuality,
Your sexuality.
Your creative potency.
And resting in this power center.
Take a moment to set an intention for your yoga nidra practice.
Could be something like my Red Bindu is awake and alive and in service to my liberation.
Or something more simple like I am grounded.
And vividly alive.
Or I am radiant with sensual aliveness.
Once you have your intention clear,
Repeat it to yourself a few times.
Three or more times.
They say any intention you set in yoga nidra is bound to come true.
And releasing your intention,
Trust that the seed has been planted.
Now begin a rotation of consciousness.
And as I call out an area of your body,
I invite you to visualize it.
Visualize that part of your body glowing with the ruby red light.
With the joy of embodiment that the Red Bindu is infused with.
So you can think of it as the joy of embodiment or sacred sensuality or power or groundedness.
Any particular quality of the Red Bindu that you want to infuse your body with.
Or it could be the whole package,
Everything that the Red Bindu holds.
Just imagining that ruby red light.
Imagining your full body,
One body part at a time.
Getting activated and infused by the potency of the Red Bindu.
If you want,
You can also add the mantra there as you visualize and feel that Red Bindu light.
Ganesha's mantra,
Om gamgana pataye namaha.
So saying that quickly in your mind,
In each body part,
If you like,
That is extra optional.
So,
Beginning with your right hand thumb,
Pointer finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And pinky finger.
The palm of the right hand,
The back of the right hand,
Right wrist,
Lower arm,
Inside of the elbow.
Upper right arm,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Right side chest,
Right side waist,
Right hip.
Right thigh,
Right knee,
The back of the knee,
Right lower leg,
The top of the right foot,
The sole of the right foot,
Right heel,
Right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And pinky toe,
The whole right half of the body.
And now,
Bring awareness and that ruby red light energy to the left hand thumb.
Pointer finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
And pinky finger.
The palm of the left hand,
The back of the left hand,
Left wrist,
Elbow,
Inside of the elbow.
Left upper arm,
Shoulder,
Armpit,
Left side chest,
Left side waist,
Left hip,
The upper left leg,
Left knee,
The back of the knee,
Lower left leg,
The top of the left foot,
The sole of the left foot,
Left heel,
Left big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
And pinky toe,
The whole left half of the body.
Bringing awareness now to your whole pelvic bowl,
Filling it up with that ruby red light,
Infusing all your sexual organs with the vitality of your red bindu,
Lower belly,
Sacrum,
The buttocks,
Low back,
The middle back,
And the upper back,
Solar plexus,
Your chest,
Collarbones.
Bringing awareness back to the red bindu itself.
Now bringing awareness up to your neck,
Your face,
The whole head,
The whole body.
The whole body awake and alive,
Glowing with ruby red light,
Pulsing with sensual radiance.
Drink that light into every cell with your next few breaths.
Let it be healing,
Let it be transformative,
And let it bring you vibrancy and clarity.
Let it bring you calm resolve.
Let it be in service of your awakening and liberation in this body,
In this lifetime.
Simply notice now how you feel,
And becoming aware of your whole body lying on the earth,
Bringing awareness to your breath,
Bringing awareness to the fact that you are here.
You are alive.
You're not just alive,
You're vibrantly alive.
Returning to the intention you said at the beginning of your practice,
Perhaps with a sense of,
Oh yeah,
That's happening,
That's already happening.
And beginning to deepen your breath,
And perhaps savoring it with each and every inhale,
Each and every exhale.
Taking your time to slowly transition out of the practice in your own time.
There is no rush.
The way we come out of practice,
They say in the tantric tradition,
Is just as important as the practice itself.
Perhaps taking just a moment of gratitude for yourself as you slowly begin to transition out of your practice.
May it be for the benefit of all beings.
Thank you for taking the time to do this yoga nidra practice today with the red bindu,
The magical,
Delicious red bindu.
Your practice is complete.
Om.
Om.
