Hello and welcome.

Welcome home to yourself.

Welcome to this place and space to rest,

To be,

To dream,

To receive.

You are invited to settle in.

Become as cozy and comfortable as you wish to be.

Take up lots of space or if it calls to you,

Curl up and give yourself a hug on your side,

On your back.

Welcome to your space of yoga nidra.

When you're ready,

Allow your eyes to gently close.

There is nothing that needs to be seen in this space.

Enjoy a deep breath in and let your breath be.

There is no special way that you need to breathe in this space.

There is nothing that needs your attention or your efforts.

The earth gladly receives your body now.

You're invited to rest.

You're invited to allow the love and permission,

The unconditional acceptance and support from the earth to soak into your body.

The way water soaks in and nourishes the soil.

Your very bones,

Muscles and organs your very cells receive this unconditional support,

Acceptance and love from the earth.

To receive that in every cell,

You are invited now to rest and dream with the earth,

Dear one.

Behind the darkness of closed eyes,

Your awareness is free.

There is no telling where it may drift to.

It is all of your own creation with the earth.

It is all for you.

Perhaps now,

As your breath leaves the body,

Awareness could settle into all of those places where you touch the support beneath.

Each breath that goes out settles awareness deeper and deeper into those places of support and connection.

You're invited to simply be curious about where those exhalations might take you.

Perhaps they take your awareness to settle at the roots of your body,

The floor of the pelvis.

How might it be?

How is it to be here in the root of the body?

There is a quiet moment to simply receive and witness how it is to be here in the root of your body.

Know that you are safe and unconditionally loved and supported.

Allow any natural feelings,

Images or thought forms to arise.

To be present.

Nothing to do with what you notice.

Simply to be here is more than enough.

Like a plant,

Drinking the nourishment,

The waters from the soils.

You receive this loving nourishment,

This loving energy from the earth through the soles of your feet.

It travels upward through the ankles,

The lower legs.

Nourishing every place through the thighs,

The hips,

Into the pelvis and buttocks,

Around the entire root of the body.

This nourishment travels along the length of the spine from root to head.

From root,

It fills the belly,

The chest,

The armpits,

The shoulders,

Down through the upper arms,

Elbows,

Forearms and wrists,

Through the palms and all the fingers.

Receive this nourishment,

This loving energy in every place.

From the fingers,

It travels back up through the forearms,

Elbows,

Upper arms,

Shoulders,

Into the chest.

Through the throat,

The neck and through the entire head.

It touches every feature on your face,

Every hair on this head.

Every part of you received and receiving this loving energy from the earth itself.

Your entire body now is both received by and receiving this loving earth energy.

How might that be?

To both receive and be received by this loving earth energy.

How might that be?

What might that feel like?

Fully and completely received and receptive in this space of Yoga Nidra.

The flowers of wisdom blossom in the head,

In the heart and at the root of the body.

Beautiful flowers of wisdom blossom at the root,

At the heart and all of these places and anywhere else in your being in total freedom.

Freedom of expression.

Freedom in being.

In being loved.

The invitation is to simply witness and allow as you deeply rest here in the space of Yoga Nidra.

After being with yourself in this way and being with the earth,

The invitation is to allow these flowers of wisdom to integrate in your awareness in whatever way they wish.

Deeply nourished and integrated.

The invitation is to bring awareness back to the breath and now to witness and receive more deeply those inhalations.

Those inhalations that inspire and those exhalations that release.

How is it to receive the breath in filled with fresh inspiration?

The wisdom of transformation and a release on the exhales with trust in relaxation.

Perhaps you'll take a few deeper breaths.

Gently,

The movement of breath increases in the stillness of the body.

Creating some gentle movements with the breath.

Noticing how still the body is.

If the body were to move,

What sort of movements might it love in this moment?

Maybe a little wiggle.

Maybe a little roll or stretch.

Maybe just a hand or two somewhere on the body.

Maybe just a movement that you can visualize.

All is welcome.

Trust yourself as we begin to end the Yoga Nidra practice in space.

Whenever you're ready,

Slowly crack the eyes open.

Taking your time to let a little light back in.

Make your way into the rest of your day or evening at your own pace,

In your own way.

Deeply connected to yourself and to your ever-present relationship with the loving earth.

The practice of Yoga Nidra is now complete.

Thank you for listening,

Dear one.

Go well,

Wherever you go from here.

Jai Ma.

Namaste.
