Welcome to this short morning gratitude practice.

I am here to guide you into a new day with a sense of appreciation for all that is.

Find a comfortable seated position or maybe you want to lie down if that feels best.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Begin by noticing the rhythm of your breath.

Feel the rise and fall of your belly and chest with each inhalation and exhalation.

Allow your breath to naturally deepen,

Bringing a sense of calm and presence to this moment.

Now bring your attention to your heart space.

Imagine a soft warm light glowing there,

A light of gratitude.

Let this light grow brighter with each breath you take.

Ask yourself what am I grateful for in my life right now.

Allow whatever comes to mind to rise without judgment or pressure.

It could be something simple like the warmth of the Sun on your face,

The sound of birds or maybe something truly deep like a loving relationship.

Take a few moments to silently acknowledge these things.

Feel how gratitude expands within you,

Filling your heart with lightness and warmth.

With each breath feel this gratitude spreading throughout your entire body,

Touching every cell with a gentle glow.

As you breathe in,

Feel the fullness of life.

As you breathe out,

Silently say thank you.

Stay with this feeling for a few more breaths,

Holding gratitude in your heart.

Start feeling your whole body again,

The ground beneath you and the air that surrounds you.

Slowly open your eyes and take this feeling of gratitude with you into your day.
