Take a moment to get really comfy and settle into this space.
Let your body relax and gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Letting the inhale rise all the way up to your chest.
Pause briefly at the top,
And now exhale softly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Do that one more time,
Breathing in steady and calm,
And breathing out letting yourself arrive fully.
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Welcome to this guided meditation for the full moon in Leo.
This full moon is a special one for me,
As it rises the day before my birthday.
Those of you who practice with me regularly will know that I am a huge moon fan,
So this month feels especially poignant and meaningful.
We are also at the end of the year of the snake,
Which is associated with shedding old skins and releasing what no longer fits.
For me,
This full moon feels like a moment of conscious release,
Letting go of what has been outgrown and creating space for what comes next,
With clarity rather than force,
And as always,
It is an honour to be able to guide you today.
Traditionally,
This full moon is called the snow moon,
Reflecting a time of winter stillness and resilience in the northern hemisphere.
It carries an energy of clearing what weighs us down,
Allowing us to move forward feeling lighter and more honest with ourselves.
Leo is the sign of the heart,
Of courage,
Creativity and self-trust.
This moon is going to shine a light on the part of you that knows who you are when you stop doubting yourself.
Ruled by the sun,
Leo carries a confident,
Steady fire.
Picture yourself outside,
Under the night sky.
Above you,
Imagine the beautiful full moon.
Bright.
Full.
Unfiltered.
The full moon does not hide anything,
It brings everything into the light.
Bring your awareness gently to the centre of your chest,
Your heart space.
To the place that gives you access to your deeper truth,
To your deeper knowing.
This is the place that knows when you are not living in alignment,
As your true,
Authentic self.
As you breathe,
Imagine a warm golden fire beginning to form here.
This is Leo fire.
It is strong,
Clear and alive.
With every inhale,
The fire grows brighter.
With every exhale,
It burns away what no longer belongs.
This full moon is not about becoming someone new.
It is about releasing what is no longer true.
I'm going to ask you now to bring to mind the self-doubt that has been holding you back.
The quiet hesitation.
The moments where you've questioned yourself.
The ways you may have dimmed your light to feel safe or accepted.
Let the full moon illuminate these patterns.
See them clearly in front of you,
Without any judgement.
Now feel the fire in your heart intensify.
It moves outward,
Meeting these doubts directly.
Not aggressively,
But decisively.
Silently say to yourself,
Or out loud if that feels better for you.
I release the belief that I am not enough.
I release the fear of being seen.
I release the version of myself shaped by doubt rather than truth.
Feel those old stories,
Those old narratives loosen.
Feel them burn and dissolve in your fire.
Now bring to mind anyone you are still holding onto emotionally.
Anyone that has caused you any resentment,
Anger,
Disappointment or hurt.
Notice how carrying this feels in your body.
Notice where you are feeling it in your body.
This full moon asks for release and she is here to help you with that.
And that's not because what happened didn't matter,
But because you no longer need to carry it forward.
It is not serving you and it will never serve you.
See the Leo fire expand again from your chest,
Surrounding this energy.
This fire is strong and steady.
Say quietly or out loud,
I forgive you so I can be free.
I release you from my heart.
I choose to let this go.
Just feel the space that this creates.
The lightness in your chest.
The calm that follows when you stop holding on.
Return your awareness to your heart now.
Back to this steady and warm fire.
And notice how it makes you feel grounded,
Confident and clear.
Leo reminds you that your heart is not fragile.
It is strong enough to feel deeply and stand tall.
Strong enough to forgive without abandoning yourself.
Strong enough for you to be seen.
Under this full moon,
Imagine yourself standing fully in your own light.
No shrinking.
No explaining.
Just presence.
Ask yourself gently,
What else am I ready to release tonight?
And what truth is ready to take its place?
Just let the answers arrive quietly.
And release them into the fire under this snow moon.
Feel the fire in your heart settle into a steady glow.
And just notice how that makes you feel.
Remember that this fire,
This glow,
Is always there for you to connect with.
Whenever you need to.
Come back to your space now.
Feeling grateful for giving yourself the time to let go today.
Take one final deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
When you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carrying this release,
This clarity and this self-trust with you.
I want to wish you a gentle,
Kind,
Loving and abundant start to February.
Thank you very much for meditating with me today.
As always,
It has been an absolute pleasure to guide you.
