Take a few moments to get really comfortable in whatever position feels best for you.
Gently close your eyes.
And take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And gently breathe out through your mouth.
Do that one more time,
Breathing in deeply.
And as you exhale.
Feel your shoulders soften.
And your body begin to relax a bit.
One final time,
Breathe in slowly.
And breathe out with ease.
Allowing yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
Welcome to this guided practice for the Sturgeon,
Moon and Pisces.
And the partial lunar eclipse.
Traditionally.
The August Full Moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon.
And has always been associated with wisdom,
Abundance and recognising what has been cultivated over time.
This year it falls in Pisces,
Which is the final sign of the zodiac.
As the last sign.
Pisces invites us to pause before rushing into what's next.
It encourages us to reflect on everything this chapter has brought us.
To trust our intuition.
And to gently release anything that no longer feels aligned.
So rather than trying to control every outcome.
Pisces is here to remind us that there is wisdom in surrender.
There is healing and acceptance.
And there is real strength in letting go.
And with the added energy of this partial lunar eclipse.
This becomes a really great opportunity to close one chapter with gratitude.
Creating space to step into the next with greater clarity and trust.
Take one more deep breath.
Before we start the visualization.
Imagine you're still standing outside beneath a vast night sky.
Above you shines the beautiful Sturgeon moon,
Full and bright.
Bathing everything around you in a soft silver light.
It's not here to demand your attention or ask anything of you.
It simply shines.
Quietly illuminating whatever is ready to be seen.
Take a moment to stand beneath its gentle light.
And imagine it resting on your face,
On your shoulders,
On your heart.
Bringing with it a deeper sense of calm.
Really feel that energy,
That light,
That power touching your skin.
Just really imagine how that feels.
As you look ahead.
You notice that there is a narrow path winding gently through the landscape in front of you.
You've never walked this path before but there's something about it that feels really familiar.
Feel safe.
It feels as though it has been waiting for you.
So trusting your intuition you begin to follow it at a slow comfortable pace With every step you take,
The outside world becomes quieter.
The responsibilities you've been carrying begin to drift further away your thoughts become less busy.
And your breathing grows slower and steadier.
The only thing guiding you now.
Is the beautiful light.
From the sturgeon moon above.
The path leads you to the entrance of an ancient cave.
There is nothing dark or unsettling about this place.
Instead it looks really peaceful,
Really welcoming and timeless as though it has quietly existed for centuries.
Offering a place of reflection to anyone who needs it.
You notice that there is an opening at the top.
And the moonlight is pouring through it.
It's illuminating the stone walls.
And it's inviting you inside.
Taking a slow breath.
You step inside.
The cave looks like a beautiful circular chamber.
Everything is completely still here.
You look up to the natural opening in the rock above you.
Which allows the moonlight to stream down into the centre of the space.
And there illuminated by the light from this sturgeon moon.
Is an ancient stone well.
It feels full of quiet wisdom.
As though it has patiently witnessed countless people arriving here in search of clarity.
And you find that you're really drawn towards it.
So you walk towards the well and gently place your hands on the cool stone.
And look down into the water below.
The water is perfectly still.
It is reflecting the moon with incredible clarity.
You can really feel the lunar strength here.
Energy,
The illumination.
The moon feels like an old friend,
A coach,
A companion.
Just simply stay here for a few breaths allowing yourself to enjoy the peace.
Notice how different this feels from everyday life.
There are no distractions here,
There's no pressure to make decisions.
No expectations to meet.
There is only stillness.
As you continue looking into the well,
The reflection slowly begins to change.
Image of the moon gently fades.
And in its place,
Your own reflection appears.
You find yourself looking at your own face with a softness that perhaps you haven't offered yourself for a long time.
There is absolutely no criticism here,
There's no judgment.
Just compassion.
The person looking back at you.
Has navigated every challenge.
Every disappointment,
Every joy.
And every success that has brought you to this moment.
They have done the very best they could with the knowledge they had at the time.
So take a moment to really acknowledge them with kindness.
Really acknowledge yourself.
So often we focus on the negative instead of really recognizing just how far we have come.
Gradually the reflection begins to shift again.
And instead of seeing yourself,
The surface of the water begins to reveal moments from this past season of your life.
They appeared gently one after another.
Like memories floating across the still water.
So these might be moments that brought you happiness,
Conversations that changed your perspective.
Challenges that stretched you,
Maybe decisions that required courage.
Just trust whatever appears for you.
You don't need to analyze these memories,
Just observe them.
And recognise how much this season has shaped you.
Quietly ask yourself.
What is this season?
Been trying to teach me.
And then just wait for an answer,
Trust whatever gently rises maybe as a word or a feeling.
Whatever comes is enough.
Acknowledge that lesson with gratitude.
And watch the image or the word.
Or the feeling.
Slowly dissolve back into the water.
Until the well becomes perfectly still once again.
You notice that another image is beginning to appear,
And this one represents something that you have been carrying.
That does not belong in the next chapter of your life.
Maybe this is fear or self-doubt,
Guilt.
Disappointment.
A relationship.
An old belief about yourself.
Just notice what appears without any judgment.
And don't forget that.
What comes up for you may have protected you once,
It may have really helped you become who you are today.
That this is something that you do not need to carry forwards.
Imagine that image now slowly beginning to dissolve.
Watch as it gently breaks apart into tiny points of silver light.
That rise from the surface of the well towards the moon above you.
Watch them disappear into the moonlight.
Until nothing remains except the still clear water beneath you.
Take a slow breath.
And notice how much lighter you feel.
This release hasn't left you feeling empty.
But it has created space for something new.
And as you remain beside the well,
You notice the light inside the cave begins to soften a little bit.
And as you look up through the opening above,
You see the partial lunar eclipse.
Begin as a gentle shadow slowly moving across the face of the moon.
The cave becomes a little bit darker,
Maybe a little bit more peaceful.
This reminds you that even the brightest light moves through periods of shadow.
The moon itself has not changed.
It remains whole.
Even when part of it cannot be seen.
Just allow yourself to reflect on those moments of your own life.
When you may have felt disconnected from yourself.
Maybe there are times when you questioned your path or doubted your abilities.
Maybe wondered whether you had somehow lost your light?
Just remember that your light has never disappeared.
Beneath every moment of uncertainty.
It has continued to exist exactly as it always has.
Slowly the shadow begins to move away and the full light of the Sturgeon Moon returns.
Filling the cave once more with its beautiful,
Powerful,
Energetic silver glow.
And you look into the well one last time.
And you see your reflection again.
This time something feels a bit different.
You don't look different because you've become someone new.
You look different because you're seeing yourself more clearly.
There is softness in your eyes.
The calmness in your expression.
And a quiet confidence that comes from remembering who you truly are.
Take a final moment to look at yourself with gratitude.
Thank yourself for everything you've carried,
Everything you've overcome,
And everything you've learned.
And remind yourself that you don't need to have all the answers tonight.
You only need to trust the next step.
Allow yourself to move forwards with the understanding that meaningful change doesn't happen all at once.
It is created through the small loving choices you make every day.
I'm going to ask you to gently step away from the well and begin walking back towards the entrance of the cave.
As you emerge beneath the light of the Sturgeon Moon.
Just notice how peaceful everything feels.
The path that brought you here now leads you gently forwards.
Carrying you into a new season with greater clarity,
Greater trust.
And greater compassion.
So come out of the visualization now and back into the space that you are in.
Bring awareness back into your breath,
Into your body.
Really notice the quiet sense of calm you've created within yourself.
Take one final deep breath in.
Slowly breathing out.
And when you are ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Carrying the wisdom of this sturgeon moon with you.
Into the days ahead.
Thank you so much for meditating with me today.
As always,
It has been an absolute pleasure to guide you.
