Morning Blessing Gifts awaken, stimulate and deepen meditation and spiritual practice. The meditations provide a friendly, comforting and accessible way to wake up and affirm the whole self. Each blessing has seven brief paragraphs that offer a welcome to the day, a silent meditation, affirmations of body, heart and soul, a blessing and a gift for each day. The track begins and ends with a ring of a singing bowl.

Transcript

Welcome to another day full of opportunities to minister to yourself and to others.

Gentle slaps of rain hit the window panes.

All the world feels wet as the water runs down the street,

Then underground,

And eventually finds its own way to the bay beyond.

These wet noises come and then go.

When the sounds stop,

I am propelled off the cliff of the noise into a dry,

Free flight of deep silence that is at once the absence of noise and the presence of a wider,

Deeper,

Fuller expanse of silence.

Such unique combinations of wet and dry,

Our bodies combine the elements to give us life as humans.

Feel your heart pump your blood throughout your whole body,

Rhythmically and regularly,

Bringing nutrition to every far part.

And how far must you travel to bring solace and life to your emotional regions?

Bringing care and energy to your feelings,

You can then offer expression.

First is surviving,

And then comes thriving.

And to thrive,

We express our feelings somehow,

Some way,

And somewhere.

Ask yourself what your soul requires.

If you could give voice to your inmost being,

What is it that he or she would most benefit from right now?

How would your soul like to be ministered to today?

May you understand more today about your purpose here.

Your gift today is your ministry.

Thank you for sharing this gift with us. My word was not a "life purpose" sort of word, but an immediate "here and now" word which I am striving to honor, especially today. This was a confirmation of my choice regarding how to allot my time today for the benefit of my heart, spirit, mind, and body. Thank you again. I see the light within you. 🤲🏻❤️🤲🏻
