Sit comfortably.
Allow the eyes to gently drift closed.
Allow the breath to deepen.
Soften through the body and shift your awareness inwards.
This is a meditation for challenging times.
My friend,
You wonder why you're so tired all the time,
But you're not even resting when you rest.
This world willing you towards urgency,
Towards the endless pursuit of more.
Willing us to follow the path of least resistance without thought of why.
Yet something deep inside of you is calling out for change.
You're not alone.
And while this is not your fault,
That does not absolve you of responsibility.
For perhaps it was never about more,
But less.
We all have inside of us a place of peace,
A place of oneness.
This is a place of deep knowing,
Where you don't need anything.
In this moment,
Can you become aware of this place within you?
Can you become aware of simply being?
I know you sense it,
And I know how hard you're working to reconnect to this place.
Because you no longer wish to suffer in the way that you have before.
It is from this place that we're able to not just feel,
But fully see in everything around us the unconditional love from which we flow and which flows from us.
No separation,
Purely oneness.
For it is out of the suffering that evolution emerges.
When the pain of staying the same finally outweighs the challenge of changing.
It is so easy in this world to lose your way.
But like the prodigal son returning from the wilderness,
You are finally coming home.
Knowing that the true evolution lies in the realization that where you are right now is perfect.
This was never about becoming anything,
But rather returning back to your essence and to your nature.
This is my prayer for you,
To surrender into the simplicity of being.
And from here I invite you now to remain in stillness,
Deepening your breath,
Going inwards for as long as you need.
