Let's begin by finding a comfortable position and inviting the body to relax.
The best way to start to bring the body into a state of relaxation is to slow and deepen your breath.
You might rest one hand on the belly and begin to feel the breath moving and stretching open that inner space.
Little by little and breath by breath deepening and lengthening each inhalation and after each inhale completely exhaling the breath to prepare for that next deep slow inhale.
Breathing in and breathing out.
As you continue this slow and rhythmic breath the body begins to get the message that relaxation is safe and from a state of relaxation the trap door between the conscious and the subconscious mind begins to pry open.
It is during these times of ease that we can get messages to the subconscious.
And so continue with your slow and easy breath but begin to scan the body at the same time just noticing if there are places where you might still be holding on.
Any places of contraction.
You want to breathe into those places and invite a sense of softness.
Scanning from the scalp down into the muscles of your face and jaw.
Scanning through the throat and into your shoulders.
Just noticing is there any place where I could let go just a little bit more.
Breathing in the belly and scanning down your arms into your hands and fingers.
Notice how the body is becoming a bit heavier as it releases any tension that it's been holding on to.
Continue with your deep slow belly breaths as you scan the torso.
Letting the back muscles release.
The muscles around the chest and heart soften.
Follow that feeling of letting go all the way down into the hips.
A conscious letting go around the low back and the hips.
Still breathing in the belly.
Very aware of this sense of ease as it rolls down the body.
And continue down into your legs.
Past your knees.
All the way down through the ankles and the feet.
Aware of the breath and aware of the sense of relaxation becoming more and more evident in the body.
And now from this place of relaxation bring your awareness behind your eyes and on the screen of your mind.
Bring your focus to an area of your life where you would like to see a shift.
Perhaps it's a health issue that you have been struggling with.
Something in a relationship or with your job.
Maybe it's a lack of financial resources.
Whatever it is,
Decide on that particular situation that you are currently living that you would like to see change in some way.
Spend a few moments here seeing the situation on the screen of your mind.
Noticing what you are seeing.
And then involving your other senses,
Including any sounds,
Even smells or tastes,
Along with the feelings that go with this situation that you're living right now.
And continue to breathe in the belly as you focus on this current situation.
And now imagine that screen moves slightly to the left and a second screen appears in your mind.
And on this screen,
Begin to see and imagine the future memory that you are creating today.
How does this current situation change in your imagination?
What do you begin to see?
Who is there?
What are the circumstances you are seeing?
What are you hearing,
Touching,
Smelling or tasting in this future memory?
Use your imagination and design it any way you wish.
You have immense power to create anything in life.
Let it begin now with your imagination.
And as you visualize this future memory,
Notice how it feels in your body.
Perhaps there's a sense of lightness or excitement.
Perhaps you feel more open or expansive in your heart.
Just notice the feelings that coincide with this future memory being realized.
And now begin to imagine that this screen on the right that you've been focused on expands and grows a bit larger as it slides in front of the other screen.
As it takes over in your mind as your truth.
Breathing in the belly,
Feeling the expansiveness within you.
And allowing this future memory to grow even stronger.
Your subconscious mind does not know the difference between the reality you are living and the details of your imagined future memory.
The more that you sit in this state of ease and relaxation,
Envisioning and feeling the dream of your future memory,
The more quickly that dream will become realized in your life.
Breathe deeply in the belly.
Allowing the subconscious mind to receive all of the details of this future memory.
And sit and relax with this as long as it feels good to you.
When you are through with your time imagining,
You might want to sit up and grab a journal and write the details of this future memory.
Allow the writing of the memory to become even more concrete in the energy of our universe.
There is nothing that you cannot experience in your life.
But you must first see it on the screen of your mind and feel it in the cells of your being.
