Find a quiet,

Comfortable place where you can sit or lie down.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in.

Hold the breath for a moment,

Then exhale slowly.

Continue to breathe deeply for a few more moments.

We all feel a need at times for emotional safety and comfort.

Let's create your very own inner sanctuary that you can take with you wherever you go.

Imagine a beautiful treehouse nestled high among the branches of a sturdy,

Ancient tree.

Picture yourself walking up the wooden steps to the treehouse,

Feeling a gentle sway as you ascend.

As you step into your cozy treehouse,

Notice how soft and welcoming it feels.

The interior is adorned with calming colours,

Soft blues,

Gentle greens,

And warm neutrals.

These soothing tones create an atmosphere of tranquility.

There are plush cushions and oversized,

Cozy furniture in your treehouse.

There's an inviting sofa covered with a soft blanket and a large rug on the floor as well,

Adding warmth to the space.

Imagine soft lighting that fills the room with a warm glow,

Creating a peaceful atmosphere.

Picture curtains made of light fabric gently swing in the breeze,

Letting in just the right amount of natural light.

The air is filled with a subtle but calming scent.

Find a comfortable spot to settle into,

Perhaps nestled among the cushions on the sofa and wrapped in a soft blanket.

Allow yourself to sink into the comfort of your surroundings,

Feeling completely at ease.

Let go of any worries or stress as you breathe in the soothing and comforting energy of your treehouse sanctuary.

As you enjoy this moment,

Say to yourself silently,

I carry the warmth and safety of my sanctuary within me wherever I go.

Take a few more deep breaths,

Savouring the warmth and comfort that you feel.

Now,

Gradually,

Bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Gently wiggle your toes and fingers.

And open your eyes when you're ready.
