Welcome to this meditation.
My name is Jeremiah and this is a grounding morning meditation to begin the day.
Before the day begins,
Before the roles,
The expectations,
The movement,
You have this moment.
Sitting comfortably,
Finding an upright position,
Releasing any tension in your jaw,
Allow the shoulders just slightly lower,
Resting your hands on your thighs,
Palms down to ground,
Or allow the palms to be facing up just to receive.
Just let your entire body soften and take a deep inhale through the nose and allow the exhale to escape the mouth with a gentle sigh.
Again,
Inhale and as you exhale sigh it out.
Let that be a release of yesterday,
Of what you're carrying,
Of what you think today needs to be.
You don't have to bring all of that with you.
Now just let the breath return to normal.
Breathing in and breathing out in your own natural rhythmic pace.
Feel into the body,
Fresh,
Present,
Available.
This is a very new moment,
Not because everything is different,
Because you are here to meet it.
Silently repeating to yourself,
I am here.
I begin again.
I am enough.
Allow those words to settle.
Internally repeating over and over again until the words dissolve into the mind,
Into the body.
Stand here for a few breaths.
Inhaling and exhaling back and forth,
Letting simplicity land for you in this very moment.
Every exhalation,
Let it be a release of what you think today needs to be,
The expectations of the day,
And that you need to do more than what you're already prepared to do.
Inviting a deep inhale through the nose and coming back to the sigh through the mouth,
Letting it all go.
Carry the sense of beginning with you.
You can return to it at any time.
This is a practice and I wish you well on your day.
Thank you for being here with me.
