Hello,
I'm Jared Wessler and this is my daily gratitude.
Give me about five minutes and I'll guide you through.
Gratitude is an essential practice for me,
But it's not always easy.
That's why I'm here to lead us in some.
So before we get going,
Let's take one giant cleansing breath that we hold at the top.
Here we go.
Big breath.
Biggest breath of the day.
Hold it.
Hold it for a moment longer.
And let it out with a shake out anything that feels tight.
I love the way a big breath feels.
And as the music comes around,
Let's sing.
Thank you,
Thank you for what we've come to do.
Thank you,
Thank you for what we've come to do.
Thank you.
Today,
I am grateful for the rain.
The rain came rolling in yesterday morning during my normal recording time and made it impossible for me to record.
It made me think of my dad when I was a late teen and in my early twenties.
He had a construction business and a tree farm.
And he said,
I don't feel like I can ever win if it's not raining.
There's not enough water on the trees and I'm out there.
And if it is raining,
My crews can't go out and do construction.
He says,
I guess I just need to be happy with whatever happens.
And that's what I thought of yesterday.
So yesterday's rain was a glorious thing.
It gave me an opportunity to be grateful and sing.
Thank you,
Thank you for what we've come to do.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you for what we've come to do.
Thank you.
So remember,
It doesn't matter whether it's raining outside or whether the sun is shining.
There's always a reason to be grateful.
Just look for it.
Remember the times that when things didn't work out and they were still beautiful.
And maybe sing to them.
Thank you,
Thank you for what we've come to do.
Thank you.
One last time.
Thank you,
Thank you for what we've come to do.
Thank you.
As always,
I am grateful for your willing heart and for you being here today.
Thank you.
