Good morning and welcome to this beautiful day.

My name is Joel Ennersley from Quietly Successful and I'm about to guide you on a morning meditation where you'll harness the energy and strength from the early rays of the morning sun.

And in this meditation,

You don't need to be positioned to gaze at the sun because you'll get to experience this through the power of your imagination.

So finding yourself in a comfortable position with an upright posture,

Hands by your side,

Or gently resting in your lap,

And allowing your eyes to come to a gentle close now.

That's right.

Taking a nice deep,

Energizing breath,

Filling up the lungs fully,

Acknowledging that moment of pause,

And then letting yourself exhale deeply.

Letting yourself exhale deeply.

These moments are precious.

Before the activity of the day commences,

Before the doing part commences,

You get to enjoy these moments to simply be taking a moment for yourself now,

To be here,

To be in the now.

And knowing that as you progress through this experience,

Your mind will do its thing.

It will race ahead,

Or perhaps even dwell on thoughts from the past.

And when it does that,

That's perfectly okay.

Because that's what the mind does.

And you can choose to be the observer of all thoughts and feelings.

And with this awareness,

You can choose to set up your day for success.

Because your day will be based on the type of thoughts that you choose to pay attention to.

And you can choose to start your day with deliberate attention.

Allowing yourself to do this now,

By picturing yourself in a calm,

Tranquil,

Tranquil environment.

Somewhere where you feel completely safe.

Where you can enjoy the luxury and freedom to simply gaze out at the endless horizon in front of you.

Allowing your mind to paint the outline of the horizon for you now.

While some of the detail is perhaps yet to be known,

It will soon be revealed when dawn breaks.

That's right.

And with that imagination,

You might like to visualize the stillness that surrounds you.

The tranquil moments right before the sun starts to rise.

Noticing the stillness in your mind and your body.

Gently allowing yourself to be.

And with this intention,

You can visualize the birth of a new day.

With the sun gently rising above your horizon.

You might even like to start sensing the warmth of the sun,

Touching upon your toes and your feet.

Allowing the sense of feeling the sun and the sense of feeling grounded,

Feeling at one with this tranquil place.

Visualizing the sun,

Rising further,

Bringing warming rays of attention to your ankles.

And then up to your knees,

Your thighs.

And just feeling the warmth traveling all the way up your legs now.

Up to the hips,

Your abdomen,

The waist,

Here in your chest,

The arms,

Hands and fingers.

Feeling the warmth now.

Feeling it expand even further to your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your throat,

Your face,

All the way up to your knees.

Your throat,

Your face,

All the way up to the top of the head.

Covering your entire body with a glowing warmth on your skin.

Feeling incredibly comfortable.

Allowing yourself to really feel this gentle and warm rays of the sun recharging you,

Flowing throughout your body,

Through your veins,

Into your muscles.

Giving you strength and opening your heart.

Allowing you to express gratitude for this single moment in time.

The gift of you being here right now.

The gift of you being perfectly imperfect,

Just as you are.

Extending that gratitude to your mind and your body.

Your mind is a wonderful thing,

Because what you choose to focus on and what you choose to let go of can have a profound effect on your day.

You can choose to let go of any thoughts or feelings that don't serve you now.

Just allowing them to float out into the distance,

Far out into the horizon.

Giving space between you and those feelings.

Having done that now and gently observing all the energy you need from the sun,

You can quietly whisper an intention for your day ahead.

Feeling completely relaxed.

Feeling calm.

You can allow yourself to prepare for a magic day ahead.

Because you are the ultimate creator.

You can picture your day unfolding right before your eyes.

Noticing,

Visualizing all the deliberate actions that you will take.

Noticing the type of thoughts that you choose to attend to.

Noticing each moment that you smile and each moment that you laugh.

Simply noticing you being you.

Because your success is made up of the things that you choose to attend to.

Because your success is made up of conscious,

Deliberate actions that you take.

And that starts now.

Drawing an energizing breath into your body.

Filling up your lungs fully.

Feeling the strength and power from the rays of the sun.

And then exhaling deeply.

When it feels right,

Feeling refreshed,

Feeling recharged,

You can begin to open your eyes now.

Ready to appreciate every single minute of the day.

Every single minute of the day ahead of you.
