Hi,
My name is Jennifer Ransell Smith and I'd like to welcome you.
I know so often we feel called to do something bigger,
Dream bigger,
And we find ourselves somehow stuck.
And if that has ever been the case for you,
You know you want more,
You just don't know how to close the gap,
Then this is for you.
Unchartered Power.
Expanding Your Capacity to Rise.
I encourage you to grab a pen and piece of paper,
And I have some journal prompts and affirmations that we'll go through,
But this is designed to help you close that gap.
If you're ready,
I invite you to close your eyes and find a really comfortable position.
Let's take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely,
And exhale through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
I want you to feel the ground beneath you,
Its steadiness,
Unwavering,
Holding you as you prepare to rise into new spaces.
I want you to visualize yourself standing at the edge of a vast open field.
This field represents the possibilities of your life.
The uncharted spaces hold your dreams,
Your challenges,
And your growth.
The path ahead is unclear,
But you know in your heart that you are ready.
You feel the steady rhythm of your breath,
Reminding you that you are alive,
Capable,
And prepared.
Now,
Imagine roots growing from your feet into the ground,
Anchoring you in strength.
These roots are your foundation,
Your knowledge,
Your experiences,
Your resilience,
And no matter how far you step,
These roots will keep you grounded.
With each breath,
Feel yourself growing taller,
Stronger,
And more expansive.
As you breathe in,
Say to yourself,
I am ready.
I am ready.
I am ready.
I am ready.
I am ready.
I am ready.
I am ready.
As you exhale,
Release the fear that tells you otherwise.
Picture yourself stepping into the field.
You feel the energy of possibility around you.
You know that whatever comes,
You have the capacity to handle it.
Life may throw storms your way,
But you are the storm's equal.
You are the storm's equal.
Therefore,
You rise.
You adapt.
You shine.
I want you to stay in this feeling for a moment.
Let it settle into your spirit.
Anchor it into your soul.
Feel the truth of your capacity,
Your strength,
And your ability to rise no matter what lies ahead.
I'm about to read some affirmations.
I'm going to read them twice.
I'm going to say it once,
And then on the second time,
I'll slow down so you can repeat it with me.
I am built to expand beyond my current limits.
Let's go.
I am built to expand beyond my current limits.
Number two,
Fear is not my master.
I challenge it and grow stronger with every step.
You ready?
Fear is not my master.
I challenge it and grow stronger with every step.
Number three,
I am grounded in my strength and unapologetic in my power.
I am grounded in my strength and unapologetic in my power.
Number four,
I can face the uncharted with courage and clarity.
Ready?
I can face the uncharted with courage and clarity.
Let's look at number five.
My roots run deep,
Anchoring me as I rise higher than ever before.
Let's go.
My roots run deep,
Anchoring me as I rise higher than ever before.
The next one,
I have everything I need to meet this moment.
I have everything I need to meet this moment.
Next,
I am the light others look to,
And I am ready to shine in new spaces.
Together,
I am the light others look to,
And I am ready to shine in new spaces.
And the last one,
The eighth one,
Every challenge I face is an opportunity to expand my capacity and my power.
Every challenge I face is an opportunity to expand my capacity and my power.
Your capacity is limitless.
You were not made to stay in comfort zones or operate at half measure.
You were made to rise,
To meet uncharted territories,
And to become the boldest version of yourself.
I want you to pull out your pen,
And I have a couple questions that I'm going to ask that are journal prompts that can help you uncover even further and anchor this thought in even more.
First one is,
What fears have been holding me back,
And how can I challenge them today?
Ask yourself what fears have been holding you back.
You know,
Your soul immediately knows the answer to that question.
How can you challenge yourself today?
What's one action?
What's one step?
What's one phone call?
What's one URL you can Google?
What is one thing you can do to move in the direction that your fear has literally paralyzed you from?
Number two,
Describe a time when I rose to meet a challenge.
What did I learn about my capacity?
Describe a time when I rose to meet a challenge.
What did I learn about my capacity?
When we look back over our lives,
It gives clues.
It literally is the blueprint for what success looks like,
Because we have challenged ourselves countless times in the past when we thought that we couldn't,
And we rose to the occasion,
And we stepped up,
And we congratulated ourselves,
And we had the adulation,
We had the success,
And then oftentimes,
We forgot what we did to get there,
And we stopped doing those things,
Which was simply moving in that direction,
Even if we didn't know how the outcome was going to unfold.
So I want you just to look back at your past and look at when you surprised yourself,
And what did you do,
And what did you learn?
Number three,
What does it mean for me to step into uncharted spaces with confidence?
What does it mean for me to step into uncharted spaces with confidence?
Every new space that you walked into,
There was the first time you walked into it.
It's the first time you went to elementary school.
There was the first time you walked.
There was the first time you went to college.
There was the first time you had a professional job.
There was the first time you joined a professional meeting association.
There was the first time that you dated someone.
We continuously as human beings are forced to expand,
And we forget how resilient we are.
We forget that every time you do something,
It's not supposed to be a home run,
That usually in the times that success doesn't manifest immediately,
That's usually how we learn our lessons.
If you look back on all the times that you just killed the game or surprised yourself,
Normally,
You're so busy congratulating yourself,
You're not asking yourself,
What could I have done better?
It usually is in the times that didn't rise to meet the moment that you thought it was,
Is when you're able to assess.
So think about that.
Number four,
How can I strengthen my foundation so I feel anchored as I grow?
One of the best things that we have going for us is quiet time,
Is our relationship within applications such as Insight Timer that give us a place to show up for ourselves.
And so what are you doing and what is you doing to anchor that foundation?
How can I strengthen my foundation so I am anchored?
So that if something moves me to the left,
To the right,
And starts to try to topple me over,
I whack back up into space.
I don't know if whack back is a saying,
I just made it up,
But that you literally straighten back up.
And finally,
How would my life look if I fully trusted my ability to handle whatever comes my way?
What would my life look like if I trusted myself?
What does self-trust look like?
So I want you to take some time and ask and pen your answers and literally ponder,
Carry this truth with you and know that whatever comes your way,
You can meet it,
You can conquer it,
And you can grow from it.
So I want you to stand tall,
Step boldly,
And let the world feel the power of your unapologetic,
Of your absolutely unapologetic presence.
You have the capacity to rise and we're waiting for you to do it.
Have a wonderful day.
Namaste.
