Vishuddha chakra.
The throat.
It's saying,
I speak my truth,
My expression,
My boundaries,
My voice.
The intention of this meditation is to reclaim your voice,
Release the fear of being misunderstood,
And speak from a place of alignment and self-respect.
Begin seated now.
Allow your spine to be tall and your throat to be soft.
One hand can rest gently at the base of your throat,
If that's comfortable.
Bring your awareness to your breath now,
As you gently close your eyes.
Breathing in through the nose,
And exhale gently through the mouth.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears.
Let your neck feel long.
Let the breath move through your throat,
Open,
Unforced.
This is your voice.
The space of truth,
Expression,
Boundaries,
Clarity.
And maybe,
The space where you've been silenced.
Where you've swallowed words,
Held your tongue,
Shrunk to fit.
Let that memory rise,
Gently.
Not to reopen a wound,
But to honor what it cost you to stay quiet.
And now,
Let's breathe.
Inhale,
My truth matters.
Exhale,
My voice is sacred.
Inhale,
It's safe to speak.
Exhale,
It's safe to be heard.
Breathing in and breathing out.
You're not too loud.
You're not too much.
You are not wrong for wanting to be understood.
Let your breath be a sound.
Let it hum softly through your throat.
A vibration,
A ripple,
A signal that you are here.
What needs to be said,
What boundary needs to be drawn,
What truth have you tucked away for someone else's comfort.
Say it inwardly now,
Even if just in a whisper,
Even if it trembles.
Let it be heard by you.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is speak with kindness when it's easier to go quiet.
Or speak with clarity when it's easier to appease.
Or speak to yourself with gentleness instead of criticism.
Let your breath hold up courage now.
Inhale,
I speak from my center.
Exhale,
I release what is not mine.
Inhale,
I honor my voice.
Exhale,
And I fully trust it.
Inhaling and exhaling,
Slowly begin to return.
Invite some movement in your jaw,
Maybe rolling your shoulders.
Let your voice rise quietly in a hum or a sigh or a soft whisper.
And carry this into your day.
You do not have to be loud to be clear.
You do not have to be perfect to be powerful.
You only have to speak from truth.
And that is enough.
