In the next few minutes I'm going to guide you in a short visualization to hopefully help bring your intention for your spiritual journey into a little bit more focus or clarity.
Now visualizations can be helpful for most people but they're not for everyone so if you'd like to join me please get comfortable in a seated position and if it's safe for you to do so just close your eyes or softly gaze downward and begin by taking three slow deep breaths and as you continue those breaths just let go of any expectations.
Just allow yourself to be here now and starting to feel the weight of your body where it's seated letting go of judgments and then allow your breath to find its natural rhythm in this moment whatever it is try not to force it just let it be and imagine a beautiful peaceful garden a space made just for you and this garden represents your spiritual journey much of it beautiful much of it unknown much of it patiently waiting to bloom and in this beautiful peaceful garden it's where you are eternally welcome.
Now visualize yourself standing at the entrance of the garden.
What would you notice if you looked into it?
What colors,
Textures,
Maybe how the air feels on your skin?
What sounds or aromas are beckoning you?
Just getting in tune with all of your senses.
What do you notice about your garden?
And curiosity is calling you to step inside and you may not and see you may not see the entire garden from here as you start to explore but notice how the ground supports you and recognize that you are safe you're loved and as you explore this garden and meander through it on the paths maybe you find a comfortable place to sit like a bench a tree stump the ground or a cozy chair whatever it is just go ahead and take a seat and shift your awareness inward silently asking yourself what do I want for this spiritual journey or more simply what do I want try not to force or judge your answers just notice what comes up what do I want invite all the curiosities that are bubbling up for your answers perhaps bring a few into focus or just one might even be just a word and notice how you feel when the answers come to you and let go of the question let go of the answers remember that sensation if you like or let that go and know that your peaceful garden is always available to you whenever you want to look inward but for now bid it farewell and take a deep breath give thanks to yourself for the courage you have to begin this beautiful journey and slowly become aware of the weight of your body in these current surroundings ready open your eyes before going on about your day I encourage you to take a moment to journal any reflections you have from this visualization or jot down anything you'd like to remember thank you for joining me and we'll see you next time
