Allow yourself a moment of serenity with this guided visualization, granting you permission to pause and bask in the peace, silence, and relaxation it provides. Find a strong connection with the tranquility of nature and the winter energies. Perfect for the winter solstice or any time in the heart of winter. If used in the evening, this meditation can help calm your body for a restful night's sleep. Whether sitting or lying down, it's most effective if you can surround yourself with nature. Consider bringing natural elements like branches or stones for added connection. A soothing sound bowl signals meditations beginning and end. Remember, your true nature aligns with the great nature. Mediation is inspired by 'The Green Witch' book by Arin Murphy-Hiscock.

Take a seated position and make yourself comfortable.

Bring your attention to the breath,

How it flows naturally.

Elongate your spine and then take a few longer breaths.

Out through the nose and in through the nose.

Let your shoulders relax more and more each time.

Feel how your face relaxes,

Your hands and legs and part by part all of your body relaxes to this moment.

You are here,

This is now.

Feel the warmness inside of you,

How it flows and moves and keeps you warm all the time.

Feel and know that you can create warmness exactly how much you need it.

Breathe and let the warm feeling move everywhere you need it.

You are sitting on mother earth.

She is carrying you.

You can see how snowflakes start to fall slowly and peacefully.

Everywhere around you see their beauty,

See their shapes and see how slowly the snow starts to cover the ground in its whiteness.

Sense the peace and silence that comes with the snow.

The snow starts to cover your legs,

But you still feel the warmness inside of you.

With snow comes the peace.

You're sitting silently in the snow.

More and more snow is falling.

It won't take long until it is almost up to your waist.

You are part of the nature.

You are part of this stillness.

Remember you are nature.

Your true nature is nature.

Snow is still falling until at some point it covers you all the way.

You breathe in this whiteness,

Covered by the whiteness all around you.

You still have your warmness inside of you.

You are perfectly safe.

If possible,

Give your consciousness permission to start traveling down to earth.

First to the surface of mother earth.

Sense how she feels at this moment of winter solstice.

Sense the snow and soil under it.

Then let your consciousness sink even further down inside the soil,

Slowly and peacefully.

We have been given the privilege to visit inside mother earth,

Deep down in her soil.

You are perfectly safe,

Deeply connected to all life.

Notice all the roots and seeds inside the soil.

Sense their stillness and how they are in this pace of waiting.

There lays huge amount of potential.

All this life is there taking a pause,

Taking a break safely under the ground.

Huge amount of potential and dreams of next spring.

But time for new life,

New beginnings is not yet here.

Now it is time to be in stillness.

So reach for that stillness.

Reach for the dreams that are kept safe here.

This is the pause,

Between exhalation of last autumn and inhalation of the next spring.

Perfect,

Unneeded pause.

Feel the relaxation,

Feel the dreaming,

Feel the beauty of sleep,

The beauty of winter time.

Enjoy the peace.

You are one with this all.

Then you can let the consciousness start returning from the soil back to your own body,

Your warm and cozy body.

Inch by inch the consciousness is coming back.

You feel your hands and your legs,

And you let the consciousness settle back into your body.

You notice how your breath flows and how all the snow starts to fall from you to the ground.

You can shake a little bit to get rid of all the snowflakes.

Keep your eyes still closed and sense the landscape,

The winter around you.

There is some wild animal standing in a distance from you.

It has been watching over you the whole time.

You may now look at each other with common understanding.

Listen close.

Is there a message for you?

Give your thanks to this powerful animal.

Breathe in the winter air and feel how it refreshes the whole body.

Slowly start moving your fingers.

Take a few rounds for your shoulders.

Take a couple of longer breaths in and out,

And in your own time start opening your eyes.
