Welcome.
Welcome home to your practice.
Welcome home to your heart.
Today's meditation can be done at any time of day,
But it's particularly powerful if done in the morning.
So let's get started.
Find a seat,
A comfortable one.
Make sure that you are supported and you can sit for a few moments.
And once you find that comfortable seat,
Ease into it by moving to the left and moving to the right.
Gently rock your head from side to side.
Open and close your fist and move in a way that feels good.
And then allow stillness to wash over you.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and deep breath out.
Repeat that a few times.
Deep breath in and deep breath out.
Deep breath in and out.
And then I want you to begin to think about your day.
Think about that which lies ahead of you today.
And think about how you want it to go.
This is your opportunity to visualize and then manifest.
So see yourself moving through your day,
Through any challenges,
How you want to feel and how you want to react.
Maybe you want to move easefully.
Maybe it's joy.
Think about how you want to feel today.
How would it feel in your body if doors opened,
All of the doors opened throughout your day,
If challenges were met with clarity,
With purpose and overcome.
Visualize yourself floating through your day.
Notice if a smile starts to spread over your face as you think about how you want to feel.
Allow that feeling,
That ease,
That joy to settle into your bones and heart.
It's going to be a good day.
Take a deep breath and feel your spine stretch long,
The crown of your head reaching towards the light,
Always reaching.
Pause your breath and then exhale through your mouth slowly.
We'll do that same thing one more time.
Deep inhale,
Shoulders up and down your back,
Spine stretches long,
Maybe even your chin tilt up.
Pause,
Exhale fully.
Allow your breath to return to normal,
Keeping your eyes closed.
Bring your palms together at your low belly,
Press them together and then rub them back and forth and back and forth.
Begin to generate some heat,
Some friction in your palms and then lift your palms,
Cup them over your eyes and block out the light further for a moment.
Life is not about escaping the dark or avoiding the dark.
It's about embracing.
It's about acknowledging and even thriving in the dark and in the light.
We must have the darkness,
Friends,
To bask in the light.
Release your palms,
Flutter your eyes open,
Greet the light,
Allow it to wash over your body.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
It's such an honor to have you here.
May all of your visualizations come true and I hope it's a wonderful day.
Thank you.
