Let's breathe together for five minutes and feel good. This meditation will give you the gift of presence in the moment. We will use our breath as an anchor in the right here, right now. Give yourself the gift of now with this mindfulness meditation.

Welcome.

Welcome to your practice.

Welcome home.

Thank you for joining me today.

Today we are going to do a quick five minute mindfulness practice to ground you and anchor you right here,

Right now.

Let's get started.

Find a comfortable seat.

Support your back or your knees.

Do whatever you need to do to be comfortable,

To be at ease.

And then just slowly close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and pause at the top of your inhale.

Take a deep breath out through your nose and pause at the end of your exhale.

And continuing in that cycle,

Deep nourishing breath in,

Pause.

Deep nourishing breath out.

Deep breath in.

Deep breath out.

And for the next few moments,

Simply be here.

Continue with that breath cycle and just listen to the sound of my voice.

Be here,

Friend.

Using your breath as your guide,

I'm breathing in.

I'm breathing out.

I'm breathing in.

And I'm breathing out.

And allow that breath to wash away the to-do list,

The laundry list of items and tasks and to-dos that exist outside of this moment.

Wash them away with your breath and be here.

And if you notice that thoughts start to creep in,

That's okay.

That's our work and it makes you human.

So come back to your breath.

Come back to that guide.

I'm breathing out.

I'm breathing in.

I'm breathing out.

Allow your inhales to grow longer,

Your exhales to grow longer as you melt into this moment.

I'm breathing in.

I'm breathing out.

On your next inhale,

Place one hand on your heart.

And then on your exhale,

The other hand over top.

I'm breathing in.

I'm breathing out.

Give your heart a little squeeze as you breathe in.

And breathe out.

Release your hands from your heart.

Flutter your eyes open and wiggle your toes,

Move from side to side,

Move in a way that feels good,

That feels natural.
