Hello and welcome.
Welcome to a meditation for healing the inner critic and embracing worthiness.
Find a place where you are comfortable,
Where you can sit relaxed,
You can close your eyes if that's comfortable,
Or soften your gaze,
And just observe your breath.
There is no need to change it.
Notice any stories or voices that arise as you sit,
Especially any self-critical ones,
And treat them like clouds passing in your sky of awareness.
You can acknowledge,
Hello,
I see you,
You're welcome to be witnessed.
And invite a sense of curiosity,
What might these voices be trying to protect?
As you breathe,
Allow a compassionate distance to build between you and your critical voice.
Visualize it as a smaller version of you,
Or perhaps a younger you,
Repeating old narratives.
You may say gently,
Thank you for trying to protect me.
And now I will protect you too,
From harshness.
As we move now into a gentle repetition of affirmations,
Allow a moment of pause between each one to resonate within you.
I am more than my mistakes.
I deserve love and acceptance.
My value is innate,
Not earned.
I speak to myself with kindness and respect.
I release the need to be perfect.
I am allowed to take up space.
My growth is part of my journey,
Not a flaw.
Feel each affirmation ripple through your heart and body,
Softening,
Opening possibility.
Imagine a figure you admire,
Someone who embodies inner peace and compassion,
And see their presence merging with yours.
Feel their energy flowing into your body,
Reinforcing the affirmations that you've spoken.
Place one hand on your heart,
And the other on your belly,
Breathing into both.
I will tend to my words inside and out.
I will remember my worth.
I will tend to my words inside and out.
I will remember my worth.
I will remember my worth.
When you're ready,
Return your awareness to the room,
And open your eyes,
And enter your day feeling renewed.
Thank you for being here with me.
