Taking a few big deep breaths of the morning air.
Just taking a moment to acknowledge the new day.
The beautiful gift of another day of life we've been given.
And when you're ready,
Allow your awareness to fall on your belly.
Feeling the natural rise and fall of the belly as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
Letting go of any squeezing or clenching of your abdomen.
And just allow the breath to flow as you inhale,
Bringing in the fresh morning air.
And as you breathe out,
Releasing any leftover fatigue or mental fog or sluggishness from your evening of rest.
And bringing in the energy of the morning and releasing the rest as you breathe out.
Slow,
Steady inhales and exhales.
Allowing every breath cycle to bring you a bit more energy,
A bit more clarity,
A bit more freshness.
Just allowing the breath and energy to move through your body.
Allowing each breath cycle to prepare you for the day,
To bring more fresh oxygen to your body,
Energy to your cells.
And now welcome the new day.
Welcome it with an open heart,
An optimistic mind,
And gratitude.
Allowing gratitude to pour into your heart.
And as you breathe,
Turn your gaze inward even more,
Connecting with your deepest and truest self.
The best,
Most authentic version of you.
Allow them to awaken,
To be present,
To come forward and meet this new day.
And know that deep down,
Wonderful things are headed your way.
