Today's practice is a meditative practice,
So please allow yourself to become comfortable in the way that's right for you.
You might want to rearrange your seat,
Take a deep breath and set your intention to use this time going within.
So once you're set up for meditation,
I wonder if you can bring to mind a form of the environment in the context of your habit,
A way that the environment could be better,
More supportive to you than it is now.
So you might imagine the kinds of things that you might see in that better environment.
You might even hear the kinds of things that you might hear.
And you might go into your body and notice the kind of sensations that you might have in that better environment.
And if there are any thoughts attached to that,
Just notice them too.
And then leaving that environment where it is,
Bringing to mind a behavior that in the context of your habit reprogramming is better for you.
And so you might imagine the kinds of things that you might see as you do that behavior.
Hear the kinds of things that you might hear as you do that behavior.
And be present with your body and notice any sensations which might occur as you do that behavior.
And I wonder now if you can imagine the kind of improved or new capabilities that might support you in the context of your habit.
And I wonder if you can imagine the kinds of things you might see for you to have those capabilities.
Hear the kinds of things you might hear.
And go into your body and notice the kinds of sensations that you might experience with those new or improved capabilities.
And notice what thoughts belong to those improved capabilities.
And then with those capabilities,
That better behavior and that better environment,
I wonder if you can bring to mind a more aligned belief or value that might support you in your habit reprogramming.
And if you were to hold that belief,
What kinds of things might you see?
What kinds of things might you hear?
And what kinds of sensations might be present in your body with that belief?
And notice any thoughts that are associated with that also.
And with those more aligned beliefs and values,
Those improved capabilities,
Those better behaviors and better environment,
I wonder if there's an identity that is slightly more aligned with that belief.
And if you were to have that identity,
What kinds of things might you be seeing?
What kinds of things might you be hearing?
And what kinds of things might you be feeling within yourself with that identity?
And notice any thoughts that are associated with that.
And then actually,
Let's take that up a notch.
So instead of a slightly more aligned identity,
What is your ideal identity in the context of habit reprogramming?
So with your new and chosen habits or lack of,
What is the ideal identity associated with those?
And when you have that ideal identity,
What kinds of things might you imagine that you see?
And what kinds of things might you be hearing?
And what kinds of sensations and even postures are associated with that ideal identity?
And notice what your thoughts are like as you have that ideal identity.
And then keeping that ideal identity with you,
Find your ideal beliefs,
Your best beliefs,
The best possible beliefs that you could have.
And when you have those beliefs,
And you're in that ideal identity,
What kinds of things might you be seeing?
See them now.
Listen for what kinds of things you might be hearing.
See them now.
Listen for what kinds of things you might be hearing.
And sense into what kinds of things you might be feeling.
And know what those thoughts are that are associated with those ideal beliefs in that ideal identity.
So keeping that identity exactly as you want it,
And keeping the right beliefs with you.
Imagine having ideal capabilities so you could do whatever you needed or wanted to do as possible for you.
And when those capabilities are possible for you,
See the kinds of things you might be seeing.
See the kinds of things you might be seeing.
Hear the kinds of things you might be hearing.
And feel the kinds of things you might be feeling.
And what are you thinking when you know those things are possible?
And now keeping your ideal identity,
Beliefs and capabilities with you,
Imagine the kinds of behaviours that you'll be doing when you have your habit outcome.
And when you have those ideal behaviours,
What kinds of things are you seeing?
What are you hearing?
What sensations are you experiencing?
And what thoughts are you feeling?
And what thoughts do you have associated with those ideal behaviours within that ideal identity and with those ideal beliefs and capabilities?
And then keeping that ideal identity,
Beliefs,
Capabilities and behaviours with you,
Imagine yourself entering your perfect environment.
An environment that supports you completely in the context of your habit reprogramming.
Or even when your habit is already reprogrammed.
Imagine that you're entering that environment now.
Look around you,
See what you see.
Listen to the sounds that are present in that environment.
And feel in your body what the sensations are like when you're in that environment.
And know what thoughts belong to you,
Your ideal you,
With your perfect beliefs,
Complete capabilities,
Ideal behaviours and most supportive possible environment.
And know that you can always access any of these things whenever you need to.
You have all the resources you need.
And now coming out of that visualisation,
Releasing any visualisation,
Releasing your awareness of those things,
Trusting your unconscious to take what you need.
Come back to your practice space.
Notice your body,
Your breathing.
The sounds around you.
And if your eyes have been closed,
In your own time,
You can open them.
