Hola,
Bondia,
Good morning,
Good afternoon,
Or good evening.
Happy Sunday,
March 7th,
2021.
I hope wherever you are in this moment,
There is peace deep within inside of you.
It is always there,
The peace,
The deep contentment and joy.
It's already there.
It's simply drawing your consciousness to what already exists.
It's all the layers that have been piled on top of it that bury it.
So I invite you in this moment to find a still place,
To allow yourself these few moments to begin to dig deep,
Deep inside of yourself and discover what's already there waiting for you.
As you settle into your stillness,
Let your eyes gently close.
And as you distance yourself from the external stimuli of the world around you,
What do you feel?
There's no need to answer,
Just feel.
What do you feel and where?
Not why,
Not is it bad or is it good to feel this.
Just allow all the external stimulus to go.
Allow the chatter of the mind to call it something or label it.
Just smile when it does that,
Its tendency,
And come back to feeling.
Feel your body just naturally breathing,
Doing what it always does,
What's always there.
And you never question it because there's no reason to question.
It just is.
It's what's intended.
A water bearer in India had two large pots,
Each hung on the end of a pole which he carried across his neck.
One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house.
The crackpot,
However,
Arrived only half full.
For a full two years this went on daily with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water to his master's house.
Of course,
The perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments,
Perfect to the end for which it was made.
But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.
After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure,
It spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream.
I am ashamed of myself and I want to apologize to you.
Why,
Asked the bearer,
What are you ashamed of?
For these two years I've only been able to deliver half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house.
Because of my flaws you have to do all of this work and you don't get full value for your efforts,
The pot said.
The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot and in his compassion he said,
As we return to the master's house I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path.
And indeed as they went up the hill the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path.
And this cheered it some,
But at the end of the trail it felt bad because again it had leaked out half its load and so again it apologized to the bearer for its failure.
The bearer then said to the pot,
Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of the path but not on the other pot's side?
That's because I have always known about your flaw and so I made the most of it.
I planted flower seeds on your side of the path and every day while we walk back from the stream you've watered them.
For two years I've been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table.
Without you being just the way you are,
Perfectly you,
You would not have this beauty to Grace's house.
Each of us has our own unique flaws that add beauty to our world.
What do you feel?
What does your heart feel?
Can you feel the peace inside your body?
Your deep contentment and the deep joy that resides inside of you.
It is always there regardless of the external.
Allow yourself to go inside,
To dig deep into your own soul,
To your heart and feel what's already inside of you.
You are perfectly you and if you hide any part of yourself from us,
The world,
We miss out on all your beauty that you contribute just as you are.
Bring your hands together in front of your heart and allow your head to gently bow towards your own hands.
Feel your body breathing,
The ease and the effortlessness and honor and thank your body and all that you are from your kind and gentle loving heart to your beautiful smile and magnificent laugh,
Your kindness and generosity.
You are perfectly you.
Thank you for being you.
Namaste.
