And take another deep breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Silently or softly repeat these words to yourself.
On the inhale,
May I be calm.
And allow the words to settle within you.
And let that go.
Next inhale,
May I be safe.
And feel a sense of security growing all around you.
And let that go.
Next inhale,
May I be free from worry.
And imagine stress and tension melting away.
And exhale.
And on the inhale,
May I be at peace.
And allow a sense of stillness to wash over you.
And let that go.
And as you settle into your breathing,
Allow these words to wrap around you like a warm embrace.
Feel the truth.
Feel their kindness,
Their gentle power.
If your mind wanders,
Simply return to the words.
May I be calm.
May I be safe.
May I be free from worry.
May I be at peace.
Take one more slow,
Deep breath in.
And as you let go,
Imagine releasing anything that no longer serves you.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
