Welcome to this meditation.
This is your time to let go,
To release tension,
And to find calm within you.
So let's take a deep breath in and slowly exhale,
Which do allow your body to relax as you settle into a comfortable position.
You could be seated or you could be laying down.
Feel the weight of your body being fully supported by the surface beneath you.
And now gently close your eyes.
Let the outside world fade away as you turn inward.
Breathing in stillness,
I want you to breathe in deeply through your nose.
Hold for a moment and exhale slowly through your mouth.
With each breath in,
Imagine drawing in peace.
And with each exhale,
I want you to breathe out any tension or any worry that you have.
And let's inhale and exhale.
Feel your breath flowing like a wave,
Steady,
Soothing,
Effortless,
Releasing any tension that you have in your body.
And now bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Imagine a warm golden light gently resting there.
And as this light slowly moves down,
It softens your forehead,
Releasing any tension.
Moves down,
Releasing tension in your jaw,
Relaxes your shoulders.
Find your breathing,
Settle into your breathing.
Feel this melt away,
Any stress as it moves down through your arms,
Through your chest.
And now your stomach softening,
Grounding you.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel your body become lighter.
Know that you are safe,
You are supported.
And now inhale and embrace your calmness.
Visualize yourself in a peaceful place.
A quiet forest,
A sunlit beach,
Maybe a cozy warm space where you feel completely at ease.
Feel the gentle embrace of this place.
Notice all of the sounds around you,
The sense,
The feeling of comfort and safety all around you.
Let any remaining stress dissolve into this space.
There's nothing you need to do,
Nothing you need to fix.
You get to just be.
Take another deep breath in and repeat after me.
I am safe.
I am calm.
I trust in the flow of life.
And exhale.
Another deep breath in.
I am safe.
I am calm.
I trust in the flow of life.
And exhale.
Next deep breath in.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am at peace.
And exhale.
One more time.
Big deep breath in.
I release what no longer serves me.
I am at peace.
Now slowly bring awareness back to your body.
Maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take another deep nourishing breath in.
And as you exhale,
I want you to feel lighter,
Clearer,
Calm.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this peace with you throughout the day.
You are grounded.
You are centered.
You are whole.
And you are enough.
And let's end with a moment of silence and gratitude.
