A short meditation on stillness, beginning with deep intentional breaths, relaxing into the breath, and then noticing the stillness of the moment. Soft sounds of a warm summer evening are in the background.

Transcript

I invite you to take a few deep breaths to help settle the body and settle the mind.

Inhaling through the nose.

Exhaling through the nose.

Exhaling that a couple times at your own pace.

When you're ready,

Letting go of any control over the breath.

Just allowing the breath to come in and out of the body all on its own.

Taking notice of the stillness of the body.

Ordinarily,

When we're awake,

The body is always in motion.

Always looking around or doing something.

When we're asleep,

The body is still,

But our mind is not aware.

As we sit here,

Opening your awareness fully to the stillness of this moment.

Let this stillness fill you entirely.

Let this stillness fill you entirely.

Let this stillness fill you entirely.

Let this stillness fill you entirely.

Let this stillness fill you entirely.

Let this stillness fill you entirely.
