Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.
Let's get in the flow.
Last night I led the group meditation and we called in our deceased loved ones in spirit and I think that many people were able to maybe feel even just like slightly,
Doesn't have to be a big dramatic thing,
But just feel their loved ones,
You know,
As we were meditating and that really,
You're going to laugh when you hear me say this,
But it really made me think.
You know,
Meditation is awesome to quiet our minds obviously,
Right,
And souls,
But there is also so much power in our minds and what our minds can do for us in a good way.
Having that quietness in meditation and just being,
Just allowing yourself to be,
Allow spirit to come through more easily,
Right?
Okay,
So we understand that aspect of it,
But the thing is that we have the power to,
Because of our minds,
To do anything and that's where my head was going,
You know,
From last night until this morning and it's been there,
It's like circulates in my head,
Right?
We have the power to change our mindset.
We do.
We have the power to relax our minds and our bodies to feel spirit with us and we can do that anytime if we believe,
If we have the courage.
So I mean,
Obviously we talk about the power of our minds and everything,
But when you really think about it,
It's so true that we can do extraordinary things with our minds.
We can change our whole mindset from negative to positive,
But we can also change our mindset from positive to negative.
It goes both ways.
It's all in our mind.
It's all in our mind.
There is such great power,
Such great power when it comes from within.
If we have the courage to access it,
For some people it feels,
I know it feels like craziness to think that we have our minds have so much power,
But we do.
We do.
If we believe,
If we stick with meditation,
If we stick with affirmations,
If we have the courage,
We can do anything with our minds.
God,
That's amazing.
So that's what we're meditating on today.
Are you surprised?
Oh my goodness.
So I want us to sit in the stillness today and really work on accessing our minds.
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Access the power of our minds is really what I want to say.
Accessing the power of our minds.
So close your eyes,
Get yourself comfortable.
If you have a blankie,
I love meditating with my blankie.
Don't even ask me why.
It's not like my blankie from when I was a child.
It's just a blanket.
I love meditating with a blanket because it brings in that warmth,
You know?
So let's take a deep,
Really gentle and slow deep breath in.
And release very slow.
Very good.
And we think about the courage it takes for us to sit in the stillness and allow our minds to relax.
Yes,
It takes courage to do that.
And what do you get when you embody that courage?
You get peace.
It all comes back to peace,
Peace of mind,
Peace of body,
Peace of spirit.
Our lives become so busy,
So,
So busy.
But when we have the courage to sit in meditation and allow our minds and bodies to feel that peace,
That's where the power is.
The power of our mind.
So our mantra for today,
And I'm going to sing it.
You can sing along with.
It's easy.
It's shanti,
Which is the Sanskrit word for peace.
We usually do it in a repetition of three.
So how we will do this is shanti,
