Welcome to your grounding meditation.

Go ahead and get comfortable where you are,

Closing down your eyes and begin by taking a few long,

Slow,

Deep breaths in through your nose,

Letting them out your mouth.

With each deep breath in,

Imagine taking in positive life force energy,

Bringing in what you desire.

And with each long,

Slow breath out,

Imagine clearing out any stale,

Stuck energy,

Letting go of what you no longer need.

Each breath you take relaxes you deeper and deeper.

Your body relaxes any tension it's holding,

Your mind softens,

Your intuition and your imagination turn on,

And in the space between your thoughts,

Your soul speaks.

Any lingering tension and resistance melts away with your next cycle of breath.

A long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Long,

Slow exhale out your mouth.

Now let your breathing return to its natural flow,

In and out through your nose,

As you sense,

See,

Or feel yourself surrounded by a brilliant white light,

And this protective shield of light is with you always,

And it feels safe,

Supportive,

And comforting.

Now imagine yourself in a long corridor,

And walk along the corridor until you find a door,

And as you open the door,

It opens up to your favorite place in nature,

And you walk down the path that appears in front of you,

Until you find your favorite tree,

Sit down next to it,

And feel the support of the earth beneath you,

As you lean back you feel the strength of the big tree trunk against your spine,

And as you tip your face towards the sun to soak in its warmth shining through the leaves,

You notice that you begin to take root with the tree,

You merge as one with the tree and begin to embody its qualities and its presence.

Like the tree,

You feel strong and resilient,

You're able to withstand the elements and move with the wind.

All of your needs are taken care of by Mother Nature,

And your roots grow stronger and deeper into the earth.

You belong here.

You are worthy of being here.

You have nothing to fear.

You are safe,

And you are taken care of here.

You sense the grounding presence of the tree deep within you.

You feel the power of the tree blessing you,

And bestowing its gifts of strength and wisdom to you,

As you begin to unwind from your union with it and return to your own body.

You smile from the inside knowing that you are strong and capable,

And worthy too.

And once again you feel the strength of the tree trunk against your spine.

You feel the ground beneath you supporting you.

You feel the warmth of the sun on your face.

You feel yourself fully back in your body,

Grounded and safe,

And you return completely to the space you're in.

When you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes.
