Welcome,

Today's pep talk is about staying connected to yourself as a sensitive soul.

On this path towards yourself you begin to make more and more choices from within.

Choices based on your true nature.

Because,

Let's face it,

This is the only way to stay balanced.

You listen more deeply to the signals from your body,

From your nervous system,

And the gentle whispers of your soul.

Questions you can return to again and again are,

What resonates with me right now?

What feels best for me?

And,

What is the right step to take right now?

Sometimes it feels difficult to stay so deeply connected to yourself,

Especially when people around you want or expect certain things.

As empaths we can easily become distracted,

That's because we are born helpers.

We want others to feel happy and free.

But sometimes helping can go too far.

Then it can feel like it's up to us to rescue the other person,

Or that we always have to be available.

And this overdrive pulls us away from our own unique path.

If we step too much into the fixer-roll,

We lose touch with what's truly right for us.

What's helpful to remember then is this.

You don't have to constantly fill what feels missing for the other one.

Their feelings are not your responsibility.

And yes,

They might be disappointed,

But can that be okay?

You can always bring the focus back to you.

To your body,

Your needs,

Your desires.

Right here,

Right now.

Let's try it.

Can you feel your feet?

Your legs?

Your pelvic floor?

Your back?

Your head?

This is your body,

Your life.

And from this place and from this place only,

You will feel what's right for you and what's not.

And of course you want to be there for others,

That's a beautiful part of you.

But let's learn this without losing ourselves.

Even in contact with others,

You can stay centered within yourself.

Because only by keeping your focus within,

You can feel your boundaries.

And these boundaries allow you to keep your balance,

To stay nourished,

And to keep your vitality.

And that's how you can offer the world what only you embody.

Your energy,

Your gentleness,

Your light.

You are the only one in this body who can feel what you feel.

You are the only one who knows your true needs.

Only you can step into the leadership of your own life.

And your intuition always guides you,

From there you make your choices.

Your mind won't always understand those choices.

That's because the mind is so conditioned by culture,

By upbringing.

But those old rules are no longer healthy for us.

So,

Let's keep choosing from within.

By asking ourselves,

What is good for me?

Who and what truly nourishes me?

And what gives me energy?

And so you create a new world from within.
